This is on both Twitch and Nick. Twitch's contract structure could have included some incentive that allowed him to keep some of the sub money, sure, but Nick signed the damn contract and you best believe he had a lawyer look over it and ok it with him. No one is at fault for anything except you could argue that Nick withheld this information until now to imply that Twitch was doing something bad which is how many people took it. His implication was that Twitch stole all his money in favor of giving him a minimum guarantee. Imo whether he was grateful to twitch or not is irrelevant when he was the one who didnt tell his community the structure of his contract. These contracts dont have NDA clauses in them. He could have told everyone, but then he wouldnt get another deal from twitch after because his metrics would go way down if everyone knew he didnt get any of the sub money. Thats my take and its the correct take tbh. No one did anything wrong. These types of contracts are standard practice. The media ran with him words because of how he said them. Thats on him, not twitch.

The issue is that Nick was an absolute scumbag in this situation. His MG was guarenteed to be higher than what he would make with subs. Otherwise he wouldnt have signed the contract.
