Thanks for the reaction. Background info from the web novel -- the chief didn't get younger; his evolution to Hobgoblin meant that his lifespan was significantly greater. So if he was 43 of a Goblin's normal lifespan of 45, now he is 43 of a Hobgoblin's lifespan of 75. (Numbers made up for example only.)

There are so many questions and the anime itself answers them in each chapter, trying not to give spoilers is very difficult 😅, I wait for the next episode, it will be very funny.
