i do wish sparrows would revisit the design of their turning tools; having them all made of the same thickness steel reduces their utility significantly, despite having three different widths available. also, this set would be much improved with three proper top of keyway turning tools instead of the redundant twisted L wrenches.

I really appreciate the video. I've been contemplating my first set for a while and have overlooked this set. Rather than agonize any longer, this will be the winner. I agree, the bypass tools could have been replaced with a more usable item, but the pick selection and room for expansion is what I like the most.

I have a folding case like that for my paint brushes. Of course it was the last one, now discontinued. I'd love to find a set of smaller ones for picks, screwdrivers and files.

I love Sparrows, they're the best value for money picks out there IMO. A great review and demo as always! Thanks for sharing Ash and have a fantastic weekend mate.

I like the Sherman cases a lot more; the competition case is just both too big and too small, at least for me. It’s too big for pocket carry and just doesn’t have the same space for expansion that the Sherman case has, in the same foot print but just being slightly thicker. The Adam’s tool can be fine for some but tends to be not needed by most. The warranty voiding seems to be a common trend on every review but I don’t know anyone that actually has had a warranty issue on their pin picks go through as a broken pick will typically not be warranties as that’s normal wear and tear. Modify your tools however you like as the warranties, on pin picks, are pretty meaningless. Now yes it you get more expensive picking tools warranties can come into play regarding material defects but used and bent picks won’t be getting replaced, at least for the everyday person.

the zipper on the case is on the wrong side. this way leaves a opening at the top the picks can fall out of. it really should be fixed. my picks always fall out of my larger sparrows case.

I don't see why Sparrows don't make their turning tools better fit TOK, the TOK ends look like they're a bit long, and how have they only managed to get nine turning end out of six tools, surely everyone likes a nice double ender?

I have had the most success with the sparrows city rake. the triple peak almost never works for me. too aggressive I think,
