It is worth it, if you use it a lot. Don’t buy it if you just use it a few times per month. As a local semi truck driver, some of these places take 2-3 hrs to unload our trailers. So I use it a lot. It’s also good to pass the time.

I got one thinking it would help my backlog... only made it bigger 🤦‍♂️

I bought a deck after seeing one of your videos. Even the comment section was filled with support. Since getting it about 2 weeks ago I gotta say it's been pretty damn cool.

A month ago, I had to RMA my Steam Deck due to audio issues. I was 2 months outside the warranty period, so I was kind of hesitant to contact them as money is tight right now, but I figured maybe try and see what they say. Valve replaced my Deck with a brand new unit for free! All I had to do was send in my old one. Even better, the new unit they sent me is the revised version! It has the black heat shield inside, along with better button haptics, and the better/quieter fan. Their customer service quality can’t be beat! :D

No intro straight to the point video and most importantly showing games with tittle! Keep it up. Good content. You earned my subs buddy!

I got one when they had their 1st anniversary sale, and I don’t regret it. Even with the release of the OLED, I’m very content with my LCD version, it just works and even if a game doesn’t work immediately, people have figured out ways to get them to work just fine.

I was sold on pc handheld that’s not windows based. And to be honest this thing pushes the boundaries of what I thought it would be capable of. I’m playing Tekken 7 & 8 for hours with an external battery. Not some dummy version made for a handheld device, the real deal. I kept my lcd version just for emulation purposes when I got the upgrade. I bought my brother one because it is just that amazing. If you are PC savvy it can almost do anything. I hope Steam develops a phone to really nail down how great this thing could be with true portable chat and WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity. Game changing would be an understatement!

Dude you are great. You brought some good points which aren't in many other videos like adding wireless controller wake. Also you don't have many filler words and are a great communicator. Subscribed

I just got mine in the mail on Tuesday. I got the top tier OLED. I'm so happy to finally own a steam deck. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's so cool having a Linux PC in handheld

So tempted to get one... after selling my switch oled last year I was thinking about getting another one but the more I see on the deck the more I want one!

I have had a switch, and a Play station Portal here recently. I do plan on getting a Steam Deck your videos have been a big help and any questions or suggestions for accessories are awesome thanks for the videos.

The amount of modding and things i can play and add to my steam deck oled through linux is so user friendly and fun learning how to code.

Since launch I wanted one but no option for OLED screen made hold out and got the glossy OLED when it launched. It's awesome. Its like the perfect bridge between console and PC and what a future Xbox OS could look like if Microsoft are smart.

I’m about to buy one this week definitely excited
  • @cutterbytrade
Yep, just bought one of these OLED bad boys and stoked to get it and play it in a few days!! I like my Switch and the portability; looking forward to added versatility with my PS5 And XBox games when I travel. Thanks for the video -- helped reaffirm my decision to add this to my gaming gallery... =)

  • @DjEloy
I am doing some research on maybe getting a steam deck (never owned one yet) and this video is right on time and VERY helpful. Thank you for mentioning you can hook it up to a TV, i wanted to know that! 👍👍
  • @Radiioactiivoo
I got one like 3 weeks ago and now my ps5 is just there collecting dust and i do think the steam deck is possibly for most people really simple to used
  • @MuteyBabe
Glad to hear that switch hand cramps isn't something i alone suffer from lol.

I'm about to buy an og steam deck, it's nice to see a newer review since many of them are months or years old already. I had my boubts, but I mostly think the same way as you, especially in the fact that you do not requiere to buy new games since it's literally just another pc to play in. Now I'm confident in buying it, thanks.
