"One Way or Another" is my favorite Blondie song. She was stalked by her ex, put his death threats to music, and made them into a number one hit 😂

Debbie Harry took some time off to care for a seriously ill friend which many people said it would kill her career. After the person was finally successfully diagnosed and recovered she came back to singing. Blondie had broken up but they reformed and started recording again . She is truly a hero in my book.

debbie mixes punk girl and disco queen in a way nobody else could.

Their track 'Call Me' is my fav, it was in the opening scene to 'American Gigolo' with Richard Gere driving an open top Mercedes. Love it!

Debbie Harry was a Studio 54 gal and embraced the whole New York heroin scene of the 70's. She became good friends with Andy Warhol and he did a series of prints of her and painting of her which sold for £US 5.9 mill in 2012. She has lived one hell of a life (she was also a Playboy Bunny) and is still going strong today. Blondie performed on the main stage at Glastonbury festival (the biggest and best in the world) last summer.

All the boys had a crush on her, and all the girls wanted to look like her ❤

She has bombshell looks, a cool style, an amazing voice, and a punk attitude. I love Blondie.

Blondie are still touring. Coming to Australia in April. Debbie Harry is 78 and still going strong. I saw them live around 6 years ago and the whole band are still playing fantastic

Blondie was a very important and innovative band in late 1970's NYC scene. They helped pioneer alt rock, punk, and rap. Very eclectic band.

She is a badass, her voice is insane. I'm sixty, so I guess I'm a Blonde expert.

You got to Remember the Classics were like 50 years ago.....she's 78 years old now! That's were she went! Most of the Great Classic Singers are in their 70's and 80's if they are still alive!

Blondie has sold 40 million records worldwide and still performs today

Debbie definitely didn’t fade out! She’s widely considered an icon, she’s almost 80, still performing with Blondie and drawing big crowds. Blondie were not a disco act even though they had some disco songs. They are an eclectic rock band that integrated many different musical styles into their material.

Check out "Call Me", as well. I'm 65 and I still have the original vinyls!! ❤❤

This song has been in tons of TV shows! She was a Playboy bunny too! She just turned 77! She did not fade away you just missed that 🚂😁 definitely do Call Me” and “The Tide is High! ❤️‍🔥✌🏻🫶🏻
  • Atomic, by them! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Heart of Glass was #1 like . . . forever.

Debbie Harry has always been one of those people you can't pigeon hole - she fits into no category b/c she's a category all her own. She's also a good person. One of the band members became seriously ill and she took time off her career to nurse him back to health. She's a hero! She's 79 years old now and still looks great.
  • @timorr2399
Heart of Glass came out in 1978....it was considered Disco Music. I love it.

BLONDIE WERE AHEAD OF THEIR GAME!!! Debbie Harry was an ICONIC frontwoman - she had such an impact on female vocalists - her voice, style and looks - she was an one off! PLEASE REACT to 'Atomic', 'Call Me', 'Heart Of Glass', 'Sunday Girl', 'One Way and Another', 'Hangin On The Telephone' - great band - punk/alterative/new-wave....brilliant! Saw them about 5 years ago at a big music festival - crowd went WILD! More BLONDIE please!
