08.28.2021 | 11:30 PM | MURRIETA - The Chaparral fire continues to burn through Saturday night. Massive flames can be seen on video as firefighters work to contain the blaze overnight. The last given update as 9:10 PM says the fire is 1,200 acres and 0% contained per @calfirerru on Twitter. Evacuations and road closures were in place while the firefighters battled the flames.

    How sad that this was caused by someone who was target shooting! CA is so dry so target shooting SHOULD only be done at a shooting range. Animals, people, homes, and firemen risking life and limb - was it worth it to the fool who caused this? I'm praying for all involved with this monster fire.
