  • Here's some Irony Mr Rogers fought to protect Public Television & he was a Republican! He must be rolling over in his grave right now.
  • @myname7056
Here’s a tip for politicians: DON’T GO AFTER SOMETHING AS BELOVED AS SESAME STREET. EVER.
  • @crest2x4
Elmo was the one who asked us how we were doing during a mental health crisis. Did the former guy do that? I don't think so.
  • Over my dead body will they mess with PBS! Ever since we went without tv when our black and white broke. Years without a tv, my parents brought home a colored tv and we could get PBS (channel 24)! My world opened up immensely and it's been a love fest ever sense and this year I will be 64!❤

Not that they would, but I would implore those freaks to watch Mr. Rogers explain to congress in the 80s or early 90s about the importance of public broadcasting ESPECIALLY if they wanna keep with this "won't somebody please think of the children" thing.

Bring back Schoolhouse Rock! Our kids need an education in civics...and grammar. 😊
  • @JM-bv2mo
Very North Korean 😂! Next thing, you’ll need a picture up of Trump in every American household.

"When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water," Harris said.
  • @saltysliegh
In the last century sesame spoofed a developer who was trying to demo the street. That developer was definitely the donald and he's been gunning for them since. Killing Elmo who's red🤯
  • PBS Kids is top tier children's content. Super Why was the reason my younger brother (who's now 13) knew all his letters at 2. Cyberchase taught second grade me things in math that my grade wasn't even learning yet, and The Electric Company taught me phonics in a better way than any of my teachers ever did. Curious George helped my now 6 year old brother learn certain science facts. Our public schools are lacking, parents can't/won't teach their kids anything at home, and YouTube Kids, while having some good and education content, has a lot of brainrot kid channels mixed in with the good stuff. Kids need PBS Kids more than ever.

My family couldn't afford cable so PBS was the channel to watch after school. My favorite was Cyberchase and that is how I learned mathematics in school.

I like Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster,Bert and Ernie, Kermit and Miss Piggy. Why does the right always want to attack these little Muppets?

    I knew project 2025 sucked but I didn't know they were going after PBS & my beloved Sesame Street. 🗽🇺🇲Voting Blue🇺🇲🗽 💙Freedom💙 💜PBS 💜 💛Sesame St.💛

    It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood🗳️💙🇺🇸

This is not new, conservatives have been going against PBS kids for years. Imagine being mad that there are shows out there that teach kids to be kind, respectful, caring and compassionate, and that you can be friends with others even if they may be different in some ways. Maybe that’s the problem, conservatives don’t want their kids to share or be kind to the kid at school with two moms.
  • They've had it out for PBS from day one. Children's programs that teach the children of the poor and working class for free AND promote inclusion and diversity? Access to the arts for people who could never afford a trip to the Met?Not on their watch.
  • @JaminInDarkness
It's the empathy these characters teach, it's the love of nature, it's the clarification the news and documentary shows provide that they can't stand. Mainstream media is about profit, so it's full of propaganda and distortion. They don't want any alternative to that. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting funds more than shows on PBS. It helps support local community media throughout the nation. Even though it's mostly invisible, it would be a shame to see it go.
  • @chrisitl
Nooooooooooooooooooo. I still watch pbs. I watch with my 7 year old
  • Ask yourselves who would you rather have teaching your children? Elmo, & Bìg Bird? Or The Ghouls at The Heritage Foundation?
