ILLIT has just debuted and yet their journey has already been marked by several big controversies. But why did HYBE set them up for this when they could have easily prevented this amount of backlash?

R u next was a biggest joke...they could have just debut them instead of playing that media show..girls wouldn’t get this much hate
  • That one girl who left the group before the debut saved herself from all this mess. Good decision.

I was really upset when the final lineup was announced. I don't want to outright call the members "untalented" but there were so many trainees who deserved to debut instead of some members. imo yunah, minju and youngseo were the only ones who deserved to debut. the other girls can improve but it still pisses me off that the talented trainees didn't have a chance to debut just because of their age and visuals or whatever reasons. At the end of the day none of these girls deserve hate.

it is clear Hybe wants to eliminate NewJeans, since they created Illit. NewJeans does not get the same treat as the other idol groups under Hybe.

HYBE use these girls as a weapon against New Jeans and their director. They don't even care what happen to them. They just want to hurt New Jeans as much as they can.

Here's my opinion: HYBE asked MHJ to be CEO in Ador and promise her to make her own female group concept. When MHJ was ready to debut NewJeans, BSH hold it so Le Sserafim can debut first. Probably he thinks that Le Sserafim has Sakura and will get more popularity, means more views, more sellling albums, more money. Then MHJ debut with NewJeans, finally! It become success, new fresh concept, catchy songs, the icon of that year, really stood out among all other concept. But.. BSH didn't expect NewJeans will surpass Le Sserafim, he doesn't want to 'lose' and make ILLIT debut stealing NewJeans concept, thinking he can make more money and also 'crush' MHJ's work.

HYBE making ILLIT's success seems sped up or forced to catch up to NJ success does not sit well with me. It's as if they were planning to get rid of MHJ and NJ for a long time already. 💀
  • The problem with hybe is that it wanted to become the biggest kpop company and compete with the big 3, and it did succeed in term of monetary, but hybe have to understand that this big 3 companies were not created in a span of 2-3 years. It has taken a lot of effort and time to reach the top. Maybe if bighit has remained with bts and actually waited for the right time to debut new groups by properly training them it would have been better, but i guess bang was too greedy and wanted to reach the top with shortcut method and he is paying the price for it now.

At this point I think Yungseo and Kim Garam really dodged the bullet 😅

I don't think it's ILLIt fault. The girls are innocent in this.
  • @richardc5100
It’s because they didn’t innovate when they debut. Usually rookie groups have something that sets them apart. They are just doing the same concept
  • @bbyeniidhee
MHJ is not wrong ILLIT does remind me of NJ a lot 😭
  • @noorieboorie
What is this super inflated ego that some of these CEOs have? I mean New Jeans is still making Hybe and Bang PD tons of money. Why the jealousy? This is a sign of a horrible leader.
  • NewJeans formula is borrowing trends from previous generations and making them fresh in today’s era. ILLIT’s producers on the other hand look like they’re just borrowing something NewJeans had just done months ago. Belift should give ILLIT new producers.

They are not ready to be idols, the company is in a hurry, they are hungry for money, the company looks down on the consumers.
  • @tjungnyc
This ALL falls on hype feet. The girls that were picked other than youngseo were not the strongest singers or the most talented from ru next. It even looked like they were picking girls that matched NJ concept from the very beginning. Many ppl who watched the show was confused by the picks but thought that hybe will spend the time to train them but it doesn’t look like they did but rather rushed things, lesserafim is a clear example of their mentality with pushing groups too far too soon. It very much looks like a factory system with little regard to quality or care to the members.
  • @saia126
Whether they need more training or their concept is very similar to new jeans, they really don't deserve hate. They don't deserve mean words. It really disgusts me how some people take the first chance to start shittalking others, i don't think they need to be reminded so many times that they need training, even less all the insults and despective words they are receiving. It's just insane to me. You don't like them? Don't watch them. One of them won instead your fav participant of the show? Get over it. It's not their fault, and they have dreams too.
  • @rafa_rupp
i feel bad for the illit members, but the people that deemed illit's members "debut ready"... they're just money hungry at this point. absolutely shameless.
  • @amoswang1473
Forcing Lesserafim in Coachella rather than NewJeans is also fault play from Hybe. (I dont hate Lesserafim or ILLiT) 😢
  • @chelle5413
I personally don’t hate them. It’s a weird situation of a song being really catchy, but then feeling like the members can’t even sing the song. The arguments of dancing and singing at the same time is hard…yeah, that’s why EVERYONE doesn’t debut. You should be able to do it all. It was also strange to witness them win every music show despite not being able to sound decent while standing still?? Also the facial expressions feel forced/memorized rather than natural. Idk…the vibes are a no, but like I said, I don’t hate them.
