The aesthetics of the shots in the video are like something from another world. You are truly gifted at telling the mood of the scenery in your images. Thank you for sharing these moments with us.

Pretty sure this was the most peaceful and serene 9 minutes of my week. Thank you!
  • @aroundoz
I haven't been there for 30 years and am now motivated more than ever to return. Thanks for posting. It made my week. Your shots captured the area to perfection.

Was not aware of this Lookout ~ "The Three Fingers Lookout is a historic fire observation building on one of the summits of Three Fingers Mountain in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Snohomish County, Washington. Built in 1932-33 in an extremely challenging location, it is one of the oldest surviving observation posts

What an amazing place to build a fire lookout. Those guys that did it years ago put their heart into it.

The North Cascades are gorgeous. I used to live in Arlington, not far from many wonderful hiking trails. I went hiking almost every day in the non winter months during my 20's and 30's. I had a job that started early in the morning and I would bring my hiking gear to work then I would hit the trail by 3pm, did this almost entirely alone. I moved a few years ago and I miss the pacific NW. I live in the mountains of SE Idaho and go hiking and mountain biking on occasion but I'm getting older sadly, can't do it everyday like I used to be able to. Three fingers I've done twice and loved my time at the old lookout.

I just find it fascinating that there are so many cameras so conveniently placed along the trail! Captures his movements perfectly! It must be frustrating to have a place a camera, walk back and then past it walk away from it and then go back and retrieve it. Looks like a hard enough trek without having to do it essentially three times.

Absolutely magnificent scenery, but no way in my life time would I ever drive, pedal, walk, climb and go up a couple ladders to get there. So thanks for taking us along to see it all... Thumbs Up!

One of your best videos. Love the lenght. Love to not see any other person. You transfered very well that moment on top of being alone. Just you. Time stood still. All the problems in the world on pause. Thanks
  • A truly beautiful, cinematic experience watching this. Well done. Thank you.
