0:38 - "Notre Dame expands the SEC..." and... I'm now abandoning this clickbait.
  • No Florida fan wants to see Florida State in the SEC. They do not want that to happen. That takes way a little of the advantages they’ve had over the years that works.
  • Out of two teams you pick Virginia. That’s ridiculous. Zero sense.
  • @Angrygumballl
She said Notre Dame 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Virginia thinks The SEC has academic fleas. 😂😂😂

ND fits in the BIG 10 the best especially since ND is already in the backyard of the BIG and of course Indiana is already in the BIG to so I would say the BIG would get ND before the SEC would. Most BIG 10 people would like to see ND and FSU in their conference more than any other teams out there.

Notre Dame joining the SEC 😂😂😂 what a joke! Bear Bryant would be rolling in his grave if that were to happen.
  • I believe Ali might be being a little intellectually dishonest with her theory on why Florida wouldn't care if FSU was in the SEC. It's true that they will play each other anyways, as she stated, but Florida would love to keep that game from becoming a conference loss instead of just a lost rivalry game. It's the one way they can protect their image as the "premier" program in Florida. Being the lone member of the SEC is the only reason they still carry that moniker.

Florida and South Carolina fear they would be secondary state school in the SEC if FSU and Clemson both join

She's right UF would be push down a rung and Vanderbilt wouldn't like that. UF is a dumpster fire right now, the last thing they want is FSU in the conference.

I have oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you if you think Notre Dame is joining the SEC.

I don’t know what is wrong, but I have not been getting notifications on new videos. I guess I’m about to go back and binge watch. #L1C4 #LsUp Go Cardinals‼️‼️

If Notre Dame joins a conference, it would be one that they had a chance of winning. So, no SEC..

What is this "insider's" credentials? Did I miss it?

lol, of course a Florida fan would want another doormat team like Virginia. Maybe they could get another win sometimes. Notre Dame is absolutely not going to the SEC. When they join a conference, it will be the big ten. Almost all of their traditional rivals are there now. Going to the SEC means losing those games. Florida has always been terrified of FSU joining the SEC, because they are scared of competition. They want to be the biggest and best in Florida, but only by keeping their in-state rivals down. If FSU does go to the Big Ten, the money gap disappears, and UF will continue its slide into irrelevance. It’s actually better for them if FSU does join the SEC. The best case scenario was for FSU to stay in the ACC forever, but that’s over now. If the SEC was smart instead of arrogant, they’d snap up FSU, Clemson, UNC and UVA and leave the scraps for the Big Ten. The best they can hope for in that scenario is for Notre Dame to join, but after that, there aren’t any more major brands to take. Unless maybe TAMU decides to run away from Texas again.

Lets be honest, Miami hasnt competed in football since joining the ACC (2004). Neither has Syracuse, or Boston College, or any other ACC school who hasnt won a title in football (which includes UVA & UNC since 04). The top teams involving football in the ACC are Clemson, FSU and Virginia Tech in terms of titles. Everyone else is atleast 3 titles or more behind (with football being the driving force in terms of revenue). So, if we're being honest and only speaking of football, UVA & UNC dont make the cut. Neither does Miami. But maybe these schools only join certain conferences in football only.

I hope the SEC is dumb enough to snub FSU... opening up the state of Florida to the BIG10 would be a huge mistake for them strategically. The BIG10 sounds so much cooler, think FSU vs Ohio State or Southern Cal... awesome!
  • @jamesb0255
Use common sense people. The absolute natural fits for Florida State and Notre Dame is for Florida State to go to the SEC and Notre Dame to the Big 10. Despite what Greg Sankey has said in the past, which we all know from the Texas and Oklahoma editions, he is not always truthful in public. Plus, it's certainly seems like Petiti and Sankey are working together. I simply can't imagine that they are not using basic common sense to make these decisions.
  • I think that we may very well see an unofficial merger between the SEC and the Big Ten. But at this point, I am now willing to predict anything or shoot any idea down, not matter how crazy it sounds, because I never anticipated a few years back the situation we face today.
