This is the audio/video output from a real Syzygy (Atari) 1972 PONG arcade game circuit board. There are many videos on YouTube of things saying they are Pong, but those just aren't. Notice how the paddles don't reach the top of the screen? This is a 'feature' of the original game. Notice the game speed? its at a decent pace, not all slow like other videos.

  • In 50 years, people will mock how "old" GTA 5 is. Video Games had to start somewhere. Pong gave birth to the entire industry. It demands respect

You can just feel the gun violence

This is where it all started.... all those memories, stories, characters, music, fun times all of those started with a ball and two sticks

I remember that if you lined both paddles up vertically perfect they would keep hitting the ball between each other indefinitely. We’d go eat, do chores & come back, the ball would still be going back & forth. Back then, this was thrilling, lol!

The ball moves a lot smoother than I imagined. The sound it makes when a player misses a ball is kind of irritating though, if I were to born early enough to play this with my friends we might have beaten the crap out of each other when either side loses. I wonder if this destroys friendships like Bomberman does?

Every year since 2016, Pong is always the last thing I watch during summer vacation before school starts. This is my third year doing it.

Our family had a giant woodgrain Pong console. Yes, it was a very long time ago.
  • I remember playing this for hours and how I was so jealous of the first kid on the block who got it! It was the best thing ever!

Ah the days when video games had straight white characters

Thanks for having this up here. I remember when the neighbor kid got this for Christmas. You have to see it to understand the raw nature of it.

Amazing graphics, loving the music, the vibrant colours are superb and dont forget that one of a kind storyline and characters, I would rate 10/10 but there's no Switch version so 9/10.

I remember when I was a kid, my aunt had an old pong machine and some old console with burger time on it. Those were literally the first two games I’ve played in my life, pong and burger time. And I grew up in the very early 2000s XD
