Bioshock Infinite, Command Deck, Hard Mode, Undertow+Spare the Rod

Not exactly a stellar performance (needed to be revived 3x), but I'm uploading it anyway for study. Guess I'll have to practice this a few more times before I'm ready for 1999 mode. I had a fully upgraded Shock Jockey and Devil's Kiss plas... er I mean vigors. Yet, the only vigor I ended up using was a partially upgraded Undertow. The best way to use this vigor is to stand on the upper, side catwalks. That way, you pull the Vox AWAY from the core unlike what you see me doing in the first few minutes of gameplay. The nice thing about using just one vigor is that you don't lose the momentum of the battle by pausing to switch. I almost (but not really) wish they restricted you to using just two vigors like they did with the guns so that you could switch between two with a quick tap instead cycling through all of them. But if you don't mind swapping, Undertow + Shock Jockey is a perfect combo against patriots.

I also had a fully upgraded sniper rifle and RPG and a mostly upgraded volley gun. I now wish I had fully upgraded the volley gun instead; It's far more useful in close combat. My gear is shown at the beginning of the video: Spare the Rod, Shock Jacket, Overkill, and Headmaster. Since I never managed to earn enough money during the game to afford Possession for Less, I resorted to using Spare the Rod to get my possession for free. Well not exactly free, I did need to be revived 3 times, but hey at this point in the game, what the hell else are you gonna spend the money on anyway? Also, do NOT equip Brittle Skinned if you're going to use Spare the Rod. And rushing a gunship trying to draw its fire will not work; The Vox are smart enough to stay focused on your ship's core. So should you.

As satisfying as it might be to use Songbird to crush the patriots like beer cans, you should probably keep him focused on the aerial targets since he's uniquely capable of stopping them. The deck is your responsibility. Keep an eye on the Songbird timer. If Elizabeth has to remind you that Songbird is ready, you've already wasted precious seconds. My favorite part of this video is when I took out a Vox ship even before it had a chance to pull alongside. I avoided riding the skyline specifically because it's so much harder to designate targets for Songbird while doing so. If you're going to use the skyline system, maybe equip Firebird instead of Headmaster.

Captured with Roxio GameCap SD. Sped up 2x and audio pitch shifted back to normal. Sorry about the clipped top of the screen. Not sure what's up with that, but the only thing you're missing is the shield bar. You can pretty much tell what's going on though from the shield break and regeneration animations.
