COVID has taught me that IF the world saw a Zombie plauge, we would see Zombie sympathizers, Bite Hiders, and Zombie Cults everywhere.

I went through the unit NBC defense course in the Army and we had a guy who'd studied with the CDC who happened to be nearby and who came over. We focused on nuclear and chemical weapons mostly, but he went over biological issues and back then, before 9/11, he nailed EXACTLY what would happen in an outbreak that went nationwide. He even nailed the divisions along party lines as to how each side of the aisle would handle things, the breakdown in the supply chain, even the refusal of people to wear protective gear and refusal to acknowledge the problem at all. I wish I could find him today to tell him how impressed I am that he called the current situation over 20 years in advance

I wonder if little things like this will change in movies now that we've all had some exposure to the real thing. I immediately noticed them shaking hands rather than an elbow greeting.
-
He knows a lot about viruses. Just not about how stupid people are.
-
“Kissing is a great way to get a virus” Guess I’m safe then

“In real life things are a lot more controlled” This man had too much faith in how this would go down in real life.
