Sakurai in 2018: Don’t expect many newcomers this time around with DLC. Also Sakurai in 2019: We plan to make another Fighters Pass after the first one.

What a legendary experience having been there to see smash ultimate evolve into what it has become to this day. Sora, the final fighter to be released in the game, comes out in 3 days and it’s hard to believe that it has been nearly 3 years since the airing of this direct and the release of the game shortly after. I have made so many great memories with so many people thanks to this game and the people behind it. I know that it is highly unlikely that anyone involved with the development of this game will ever see this, but from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Sakurai and all the people out there who made this piece of gaming history possible
