What a refreshing change to watch a calm, considered, and informative presentation. And thank you for avoiding all that unboxing nonsense.

The 16gb ram, 512g ssd option is very close in price to the 14” MBP

I don't think I would ever consider getting a macbook a few years ago, but those M series processors changed the game. I kinda want one
  • @ckatheman
This models m2 is not binned and does have 10 gpu cores as compared to 8 on the 13
  • @aero1000
So how many 1080p displays can it drive?
  • @V_besch14
Just bought one for college. After the discount it only cost $912. Cheaper then the base 13-inch air.
  • Love my 15 inch MBA. Had to go for the 16GB/512GB model because 8GB is crap because it wont last long. Sure itll work fine for today and tomorrow but what about 3 or 5 years from now? Id say if youre like me and plan on keeping this machine or any laptop to at least go for 16GB of ram

Just bought mine in midrange memory. I’ve been waiting for a long time to get an Apple laptop and this was the right time! Starlight is my color too!

Vooovv, It looks soo big than I expected.

I bought it on the release day but have not yet gotten my hands on it. I upgraded from Mac Book Pro 13" (2014). Does it make sense?
  • @shaun1900
the elephant in the room is the M1 14" and 16" pro's which, at least in Australia sit either side of the 15" with 512gb and 16gb , price wise by $100 or so - both far superior products, even with M1
  • @artrusso6455
So do you like the Midnight color? I agree that the 13" is ideal for traveling like I do. Torn on color - love the midnight but those smudges : )

Its $300 more expensive in my part of the world. Its almost $1599 here for the base model Macbook Air 15inch. Damn it. Im Probably happy with my Air 2017 model which still functions well and wait a bit for a price drop or sale on the new model. Not doing video editing just using it for work so it should be fine.

“There’s no fan on it so I don’t need to worry about it getting hot on ur lab”. That’s not true…the fan lowers temp so this device will get hot in ur lap.
  • @allendavid4139
A good review ,the 15” pro lineup are just too expensive for most people
  • @Ray__E
Extra ports will be on next year's model for an extra charge of course. The Apple upcharge is real.
