I miss him. Whenever you wanted a safety car you could always rely on Mazepin
-
He even paid Netflix to promote him, in his home race it was raining and they showed that he chose to change tires earlier (because he knew the weather in his country very well) and because of that he incredibly ended in front of Latifi, wow what a smart driver . So I researched and found out that Latifi had a DNF and Mazepin got a p18 🤡
-
He was a barrier test driver and a very good one at that
-
I almost felt bad for him in 2021, but, as soon as he'd start to garner some sort of sympathy he'd go and do something to remind you that he's Nikita Mazepin and it all just went out the window.
-
He was bad but not the worst. There were a lot of bad sponsored drivers in the 90s, and in the 50s/60s you had a lot of private entries where people literally saved up and “had a go”
-
Mazepin did wonders for Lance Strolls career
-
Wasn't the "This is why people hate you" incident because he either blocked someone on a hot lap or started racing drivers who were queuing for a hotlap?
-
He's the worst in the "modern" era of F1. But in the past we got much worse, often for just one race (or in case of Chanoch Nissany - one practice session). Terrible paydrivers were the reason why stuff like 107% qualifying time or super license were implemented.
-
Nowhere NEAR the worst. There was once a time when drivers had to pre-qualify for the race and many didn't make it. He was probably one of the worst in recent history, but at least he was able to qualify within the 107% rule
-
People love saying Nikita was the worst. These whippersnappers don't know Yuji Ide, a driver so bad his super license was revoked.
-
The fact that this guy completed a full season and Nick got sacked halfway though really shows that money talks.
-
It says quite a lot when the driver you replace comes back to replace YOU.
-
Fun fact: Mick Schumacher caused more financial damage with his crashes, than Mazepin. While Mazepin or Latifi is bad, they never hide the pay driver fact. Logan Sargeant is also awful, the gap between him and Albon is astronomical.
-
I mean there’s Yuji Ide who only did 4 races before he was demoted and had his superlicense revoked
-
There's some things in this video that just aren't portrayed correctly, the box scene where he collides with another car for example is something he had absolutely no fault in as it was an unsafe release by Alfa Romeo.
-
Before watching this: 1. No he’s not 2. That’s Mick Schumacher‘s crash on the thumbnail
-
For one sec i thought I am a time traveller
-
Oh, yes, Mazepin and Latifi in the same results list. Can't get worse than that.
-
Fun fact: The great Michael Schumacher's debut race (1991 Belgian GP) also ended just after Turn 3...
-
the funniest thing about that fastest lap, it's not officially recognised by the FIA so, his fastest lap means nothing
