Just putting it out there, but the U.S. State Department has had Haiti under level 4 travel advisory (DO NOT TRAVEL) since July of 2023. Gives several paragraphs worth of reasons why not to travel there.

Why would you go to Haiti? That country is a warzone!! ever since i was born even my Dad heard of them when he was a young boy in that is decades ago ..after they did not wanna be no more part of 🇫🇷 Frances colony its been hell over there
