We have chickens, so mine get composted chicken poo. Our tiny plot is also surrounded by little year-round streams, so I planted the Blueberries about 5 feet from the moist soil next to one of the streams. I must prune them this year as one of them is now ten + feet tall and bending over, but is heavy laden with fruit.
