Also, remember that the killing curse doesn't work on the undead such as the Inferius because they're already dead.

Just FYI to anyone who got locked out of earning it the first time or any of the other two curses, you can go back to the undercroft, talk to sebastian and he will teach you them. I did it after the whole quest line so not sure when they become available.

I’d argue that creating a horcrux is just as evil and unforgivable as using the killing curse. As to create a horcrux requires that one commit a murder in order to split off a part of one’s soul and place it in an object to protect oneself from death.

I like how nervous Sebastian is when teaching the spell.

If possible, please pin this comment! For anyone wondering if you can get the unforgiveable curses if you picked the wrong option, the answer is yes! You must first complete Sebastian Sallows questline, and then wait for his owl when he tells you to meet him in the undercroft. Here he should talk to you about anne, his uncle and "turning him in" after you have spoken to both Sebastian and Ominis, head out of the undercroft and then re enter. Sebastian should be there, talk to him, and he should teach you the spells. I'm not sure whether this can be done at any other point, but this is when I did it after picking the wrong opinion for avada kedavra. I hope this helps!

It feels so wrong telling Sebastian he did the right thing by killing his uncle... but damn do I want that spell.

I like how it's "unforgivable" yet almost any other spell on an enemy kills them.

The best part of this game. Is walking into a camp. Crucio one guy. Wand him a few times to curse everyone. Then blow em all up with good ole killin curse. Makes for a great light show. And is beyond broken with focus pots 😂

If you have missed the dialogue just return to the undercroft (under the spiral stairs near the astronomy tower) after the questline and talk to Sebastian.

If anyone has completed all the main missions. Check your load games and if you have a save that’s just after the mission when you learn the spell ( 2 or 1 missions before that last ). Go back to the under Croft and you can learn the spell again hope this helps

I don't see why the killing curse is unforgivable against enemies, if anything that's far more forgiving than most other spells you use on enemies.

There is a challenge in the forbidden forest next to one of the spider spawn that lets you play around with them for 4 waves of enemies.

I wasn't given the option until after deciding Sebastian's fate in the Undercroft. It is very easy to get locked out of this one.

Don't expel him if you accidentally pick the wrong option you can learn it again if you chose not to expel him.
