Thanks for being clear and honest. Lots of youtubers make it sound like you must buy a 2000 dollar welder and the cheap ones are worthless. Now I see these cheap welders have there place
  • @18deadmonkeys
I'm gonna need you to get with every other creator on youtube and teach them how to make a good video. Seriously, this was the perfect combination of review/information/instruction.
  • I’m only halfway through this video and it’s already taught me more than the last 10 videos I’ve watched combined. I really appreciate your common sense, easy to understand know how. It is definitely help me wrap my head around starting to weld.
  • @Jeff-rk8hq
I just wanted to take the time to tell you thanks and that I really do appreciate the hassle, time, money and energy you took to make this and share knowledge you hold. The video was a very educational, informational, but also honest, subjective, light hearted, and entertaining. That’s a tough balance to find, especially at the level it takes to keep people engaged nowadays when most of us now have the attention span of a lab rat😂 seriously tho this was prob the best vids I’ve seen on getting someone set up for success with flux core on a budget Thanks a lot
  • Easily the most informative video I’ve seen on that welder. Thank you so much!
  • @richb8303
Excellent video. I've always wanted to have a welder, for the occasional small project. Your teaching style is spot on. Thank you much.
  • @iwillp
I am new and nervous to be welding. After watching your video I bought this same welder and your video taught me so much about everything involved. Thank you for your simple explanation in detail and honest approach to the differences between both machines. I feel better to jump in and give it a go. I am now subscribed to your site and look forward to more of your informative videos. Thank you.

Extremely informative!!!!! This is one of the best welding videos that I have seen on the Net period!!!! Not only do you show comparison between different type of welders, but you go over every important detail necessary to make sure that this particular welder has everything covered to make sure that the finished product turns out like it is supposed to!!!!! Excellent job my friend, you Totally ROCK!!!!!

As a mechanic, I’ve been reluctant to take on welding, ie skill required and cost. You sir, make me want to weld. Very inspiring and non-pretentious instruction. Harbor Freight is going to have a massive run on welding equipment because of you.
  • As a professional welder for 30 years, I've used quite a few different machines. There are plenty really good cheap machines on the market, harbor freight is probably the cheapest and they do work! You just have to consider what it is you're wanting to do with it. Anything over 1/8 th inches and you're better off spending the $ on a better one or bring your project to a pro. Just saying! Love the content keep it up! From a Welder & stuff 😁

Dude, this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm not a welder by trade, but have several small welding projects that I'd like to be able to tackle myself. They don't need to look perfect, but I'd like them to look better than trash. You demonstrated what was possible with a low end welder, and this gives me the confidence to know that with enough practice, I could achieve what I need to do without investing thousands of dollars. Thank you!

I live in Utah now after 25 years in the Army. But, I grew up in in the woods (that’s rural for you city folks) between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, AL. Watching this video actually made me feel like I was listening to one of my relatives explaining how to compare, contrast, and use this welder when I was growing up. Thanks😊
  • @guitarrat18
I never realized how much I wanted to learn about welding till I saw this...lol thanks for going into detail on everything! I learned a ton!
  • @sunderark
I came into the video learning how to weld, and came out Southern.
  • @Fred-ki3lk
This is by far the best video I have seen for a person like me that wants to get in to welding. Thank you.
  • @dandeve
Man, that was the most productive 28 minutes of my whole weekend. I learned more than I’ve ever known about welding and now I’m not so scared of it. I’m definitely gonna give it a try. Thank you.
  • @leesmith5419
I've been a professional welder for over sixty years and this was a great video for beginners to watch
  • @SamAdvenMedia
I’ve never welded a single thing in my life. This is THE BEST simple explanation on what to do and what to buy to get started! Ive spend HOURS but no video has explained it as good as this video, thank you!
  • @lindseysiegle1174
I’ve watched tons of how-to and demonstration videos. This is, without a doubt, the best instructional video I’ve ever seen on any subject. Clear, complete explanations of the tool and the process and just enough extra information so you understand the options. Great job.👍
  • @mariobueno3368
Great basic, no bs, video for us beginners who want to get into welding. Simple, entertaining and very descriptive!
