Was the only level in the game that gave me the WWI vibe I wanted.
-
probably the best Battlefield ever, the visual effects the sounds, amazing
-
“ you are not expected to survive” is a haunting line, it perfectly fits the theme of ww1 and its something not many people realise how dark it is
-
The first modern warfare showed you that even you as the player character could die, but this showed you that it wasn't always just you who died but every other soldier around you no matter the weapon or position could die just the same and that's truly revolutionary
-
Their only mistake was not giving Harlem Hellfighters more campaign missions.
-
This has to be the best war game cutscene ever, it is so emotional
-
What a vibe to start the game. “What follows is frontline combat. You are not expected to survive.” Then each time you die you get the epitaph for the solider you were just playing as.
-
This needed to be the way the whole campaign was. I’d love a game like this where you just are a frontline soldier and every time you die, it’s an epitaph, and you’re put into the boots of another. Nothing has ever matched this vibe.
-
What makes it good is that the environment in this game are all destructive. Like if you toss a grenade near a tree the tree would fall and Burn. And many more tiny details like this are also present which makes the game more engaging
-
Honestly probably best battlefield game ever made! Still constantly played many years later. Visuals, story, smoothness & overall gameplay was just bad-sick. The multiplayer maps was just insane with so much to do.
-
This needed to be the entire game, with all the well known historical battles. Just playing random characters in the real units that were part of these fights. Instead of the random war stories that lasted like 3 hours each.
-
The level of realism, sounds, graphics, weapons. Hats off to the developer and the team for this level of creativity.
-
WWI: 19 million victims (11 million soldiers and 8 civilians). WWII: 75 million victims (50 million civilians and 25 million soldiers). Never again .
-
"Don't tread on me; goddamn, let's go!" -Motto of the United States 369th Infantry, known as the 'Harlem Hellfighters'.
-
This was the first game I got into when I got into gaming I’m a late bloomer almost 42 when I got my first Xbox this game is amazing
-
REST IN PEACE Every soldiers who fell no matter of what side. WW1 was not only a Bloody tale but also a Beautiful tragic one. The Christmas Truce Proved that Humanity was still Greater than the Great war.
-
Rest in Peace to the good times spent playing this game.
-
This level was so good. I remember being so hyped. Still am hyped watching it now. But the other levels were so bland in comparison
-
9:45 after the explosion, the music just perfectly matches with that mele kill and it looks and sounds soo good.
-
WWII was more devastating for humanity and the civilians who suffered through it, but WWI was probably a more hellacious experience to fight in as a soldier.
