Hi, my name is Merrill Kazanjian. New York City is an amazing place to go metal detecting. We have lots of parks, colonial history and great beaches for beach detecting. I have gone to all five boroughs of New York City To Metal Detect and beyond. I also currently own 16 metal detectors. I want to have the best and I want to help you choose the best as well. Below I will showcase some of the playlists on this channel:

I am a treasure hunter. So in addition to metal detecting, I go mudlarking at sites such as Dead Horse Bay. Think of mudlarking as metal detecting without a metal detector.

My most important series is called Becoming A Millionaire Metal Detecting. I am trying to monetize my favorite hobby in order to do it more in the future. In other words, we put the clad we find in the ground, affiliate earnings, and merchandise earnings in to the stock market and we invest it. This show started in January 2019.

  • How did I miss this video Merrill? I loved this one, you got two of the greatest hunters on this planet with you, and they're coming up with finds of a lifetime. Merrill, your five mercury dimes were awesome too. Thanks, Merrill, I love the way you jump from one find to another as you move quickly on.
  • @philbinaso1243
Recovery Speed!!!! Apologize everyone , that was a test I did on our group text, I accidentally was calling recovery speed .. sensitivity…. Merrill , go back and read the text after the video.!!!!! It’s a recovery speed of 1.
  • Good finds…good friends. Looks like a nice day. I hope things are looking up for you all around. It makes me happy to watch .
  • @sourcreamking
Well, Phil wasn't running the machine in sensitivity 1 as he said, he was running it at 23 sensitivity... Recovery speed, however, was at 1, and the FE & F2 were at 9 for the first test, and 1 at the second test. Oh, and those notched round things you find at the beach: parasol sliders.
  • the token with the 'column' is a one fare token to the International Railway Co. in Niagara Falls. One side reads International Railway Co. while the other reads Good For One Fare.
  • @diggerdoc5022
Merrill the object you asked about was umbrella slide great finds all around
  • Love all your videos. You have an awesome group you go out with. Maybe I’ll see you out in the island somewhere one day
  • @andyfinley987
Jon is correct. It appears that Phil misspoke and said Sensitivity instead of Recovery. What I’m interested in is that when he turned down the Iron Bias down to 0, he lost the coin. That seems backwards to me. I only hunt with an Iron Bias of 0 with the idea that although I may dig a fair amount of iron, I’ll also dig any non-ferrous signals next to the iron.
  • @kevinman1686
FE and F2 do not run together at the same time. You are either using FE or F2. Also the "sensitivity" he kept saying was at 1 was actually the "Recovery Speed". He didn't get the signal from the 10" wheat cent because there was iron nearby. You need to set the Recovery Speed to at least 3 or 4 to get enough separation on a target like that with iron nearby.
  • Now that you have a properly operating repaired Equinox it’s probably going to feel like a whole new machine. I think you’re right. Stay with the Minelab coils. Also when I started wearing my Bluetooth Minelab headphone with my 800 that was when I leveled up! Good video as always. Phil definitely misspoke about the sensitivity setting.
  • @jackweber275
This vid was great fun and informative. Loved how you couldn’t wait to see your finds , you looked like a kid grabbing for toys . Thank M
  • @Buckleboy
Also at 33:21 it’s a hard times token. Listed as W-NY-400-10a; Low-114; HT-249. John H.Dayton’s Union Steam Washing Establishment which was located on 17th street near 5th. 1837 date.
  • @topolino_0094
" This is probably my last signal..." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  • @ufopirate1746
My SIMPLEX and SNIPER COIL... I CAN'T go back to the OTHER coils BTW... I'm at almost 4oz of SILVER this year and didn't detect for a whole month because of snow and work.... SIMPLEX and SNIPER COIL IS SIMPLY AMAIZING... The SNIPER COIL IS the key... Slow and SEPARATION is EVERYTHING!!!
  • @fredclemons8923
Nice Job Merrill 4 mercury dimes in on hole nicely done, really enjoyed the video keep them coming. 🇺🇸
  • @jerebigler7520
I still wish you three guys would colaborate on a book of tips and settings for the Equinox 600/800. I'm certain it';d be a best seller in the MD community. Really enjoyed this one, as usual. Thanks fo sharing.
  • Glad the confusion was explained about recovery speed and sensitivity. Great hunt!
  • @ufopirate1746
BTW just curb hunting this year MOSTLY... EVERYTHING is SURFACE silver wise... Halves, Qs and dimes... EVERYTHING IS SURFACE... 2 SITTING LIBERTIES AS WELL
