The acting is amazing. You take it for granted but watching what they were actually working with is incredible.

Just incredible. They delivered a movie that lived 100% in their heads and hearts. Running around that sterile room in suits, the level of emotion and presence they delivered when they had ZERO setting, almost ZERO costuming, and all the equipment interfering between the actors’ faces… It’s just incredible. Other situations, you can feel your character can come alive once you put that costume on or step on that fully decorated set. By contrast this movie was fully carried in the imaginations of the cast & team. The amount of focus and presence this required is just so impressive.

The extras running in the scene has me laughing so hard 😂😂😂 that’s some imagination she had to use

This has probably got to be one of the hardest things these actors have had to do. Being in a stage room is one thing, but to have to do that for most scenes not knowing the full scale of what their movie environment will look like is another. These actors had to put so much effort into every movement, reaction and expression, and it still boggles my mind. The second movie will definitely be full of more surprises! ☺️

I love how the thanator dragging Jake down at 1:59 in real life is just 2 dudes beating him with sticks 🤣

Watching Neytiri cry in real time made me tear up, ugh I love this movie & this made me appreciate it that much more💘😩
  • The set and the suits and the dots on their faces it all looks so ridiculous but they were so focused on the story they were trying to tell and they absolutely aced it. The acting is just amazing

For 2009, this was an amazingly beautifully done movie. I mean honestly just looking behind the scenes is honestly so cool. The movie came out so damn good and I still love and watch it to this day
  • as a kid i freaking loved the beginning of the movie where they’re all floating in their water tank things. everyone says this movie sucks but i highly disagree

6:26 I really love this segment of the movie. The way she acts, her facial movements, synchronized to the movie so well. One of the reasons why Zoe is such a great actress.

Even the behind the scenes makes me cry like a baby, i love this movie so much
  • They were doing all of this amazing acting with just rough storyboard references and looking at abstract shapes and imagining the rest while inside a studio environment. That's incredible.

Zoes smile is a sight to behold. She can show so much facial expression. Phenomenal actress
