Thank you so much for posting this video!!! You are easy to understand and I really appreciate that! I'm the one (the wife) who makes the repairs in our house. My dad used to help me fix things but he passed away. God bless you and thanks for taking the time and effort to show things in detail. As stated previously....you're a lifesaver! 👍🏼😊
  • I have the same exact sink and followed these directions after watching the video many many times. I’m so happy this fixed my sink leak and I dont have to call a plumber. As a solo lady home repairs are always stressful and this video was a life saver !!!

Thank you so much for this video—first time widow ..so navigating this issue alone.. *Extra thanks for the mention of Moen warranty as it prompted me to call Pfister and sure enough, they offer the same warranty for my faucet! I’ll have to wait 7-10 days shipping but the leak isn’t too bad. Thanks again!
  • I’m the next bonehead to try this repair! Really appreciated this video! Thanks

I could not have repaired my faucet without your video. No one local had the cartridge, but I did get the o-rings and it turned out that was all that was needed. Cannot thank you enough. Watched for taking it apart and putting it back together.
  • Nice video. Two suggestions from another video that might help: Remove the bottom O-ring first. The top O-ring will keep the bottom one from getting caught on the threads. When replacing, do the top one first, so the bottom one will go over it instead of going over the threads. Second, the other video showed the grease being applied after the new O-rings are installed. Then you don't have a greasy O-ring to install. Just helpful info from the video I watched right before yours! Your video is good, too.

I had the exact same problem with my leaky Moen faucet. I bought the parts on Amazon, tho. The cartridge (Moen part #1255) was $21.49 and the O-rings (Moen 146789 Replacement Part) were $5.48. I could have saved $27 if I had called Moen. Once I replaced the O-rings the leak stopped. Thanks for the video. It was a big help!

This was so helpful!!! Thank you for recording. I repaired it myself (O-rings and Cartridge) thanks to you!! Moen supplied the replacement pieces no charge after I contacted them also! That bit about the crown ring was very good to know!!

I bet many DIYers have watched and bookmarked this video , I for one have watched it 2-3 times already because I had seen signs of water leaking from the base of the (Moen single handle kitchen ) spout and kept putting off fixing it until last week when overnight the leak got too big to ignore, thanks to this step by step video it only took 7.5 minutes from start to finish to replace the O-rings and I was done.

You are great! I've done faucets before, but I'm 76 and things aren't always the way I remember. Your instructions were very accurate. All done here, no leaks!
  • Awesome video. Just called Moen, and gave them the model number. They are shipping the repair supplies in two days, for Free. Thank You!!!

Thanks so much for putting this on YT. Very helpful. I've been agonizing over mine for sometime. After watching you have a go at it, I believe I have the courage to give mine a try!
  • @trackerbab
Hey thanks. You did an excellent job ! Moen only sent me the instructions to remove the handle but your video showed how to do the complete job. Good stuff. Bernie Moncton NB Canada
  • Great video. Very clear, well-paced and honest. And I loved the part about using paper plates.

OMG! These instructions are fantastic. I was going to call a plumber but after watching you, I am pretty sure I can do this myself! Thank you! Awesome video!

Thank You for your tutorial. You helped me tremendously.

Thank you so much. That was exactly what the problem was. My model is a copper core with no plastic coupler on top but the rings were it.

Very nice video. Step by step instruction. Just follow it and things will go the way it should. Easy and no stress. Extremally helpful. Thanks.

Sir, your tutorial made the job easy and simple, from contacting Moen for the parts to the installation. Thank you!
