Dumpster Diving in a College Town - What a Great Haul!

Did you know what the MUMS were?? In Texas we use them to show our school spirit by decorating our homecoming outfits – it's a fun tradition and I will be curious to know how many of you have seen these before! They are the first of their kind that we've found and I will be on the look out for someone local to donate them to.

We got to spend Thanksgiving with my nephew that i helped raise, and that night into Friday early morning he went to the er, had cardiac arrest and passed away. His name was Dustin and he was 40 years old. He was a awesome person and will be missed by many. My heart is broken, so thank you for the videos. It helps to watch your videos ❤😢

I love seeing the Texas mum tradition! Fun! A bouffant is a woman's hairstyle that became popular in the 1950s when I was born. My mom and all her friends wore a bouffant hairdo. So cool!

Yep! Bouffant is a hairstyle. Kinda popular in the. 60s. I’m picturing a woman who was sucked in by an MLM and got disillusioned and quit! Hope she realizes she’s still a boss!!!! Great haul today!

Back in the 60s, we used to back comb our hair until it was really high, then spray a whole can of hair laquer on it, then go dance the night away, those were the days 🥰🥰

Hospice is a great place to donate adult briefs to. Also they will take unopened medical supplies

That bowl is for ramen and the hole and slot are for you to rest your chop sticks on. It looked like you weren't going to find anything, but WOW did that change!! Have a blessed day!

Hand towels are for the bathroom & usually match your towels. I think maybe those “thanksgiving” towels were kitchen dish towels. Do you remember the tv show called Alice, starring Linda Lavin? One of the other characters on that show, Flo, the tall, skinny blonde who chewed gum all of the time, had a bouffant hair style. About those diapers & underpads…call a veteran’s organization. Many wounded warriors, like myself (USMC/Vietnam), are living in poverty & can’t afford supplies like those that they really need to stay in their own homes & remain independent. If you could find someone like that, they wouldn’t be fussy about accepting a donation-I know I wouldn’t! I often have to choose between these expensive supplies & food.
