I used to hate that my parents didn't let me have a smartphone when I was in an elementary school ...now I thank them so much for that.

I was 12 or something when this video came out and even then, girls in my classes showed me TikToks and laughed yet I saw no humor nor did I see anything even slightly entertaining. All I saw was the creators embarrassing themselves and cancer. I'm glad I can come down here and we can all say "what a piece of shit" without any one getting angry.

I don't think I was born in the wrong generation, I was just raised correctly.

As a teenager myself I always seem to get bad looks and even shamed almost for telling people that I hate Tik Tok or really any social media platform aside from a few, and it always kind of infuriates me how all of these people seem to have as Charlie so incredibly put "No sense of shame" whatsoever. I always see people (not just girls) in my school making Tik Toks or even just doing dances in school and its really annoying and almost always makes me cringe, and I don't think I will ever understand how they can do it without cringing not to mention think people are weird for not liking it the same way they do. I don't think that "not understanding the times" has anything to do with age and is really just a factor of how much you have in the sense of maturity or "shame" as Charlie put it.
