Finally someone explains what all 3 screws do instead of just the H & L. Best carb adjustment video out there. Thanks for this.
  • @Urban_Tarzan
Great video!!! I had a McCulloch chain saw for years and it just stopped running, tried everything I could think of to no avail. I bought a new saw about 5 yrs ago and now that one wasn't running very good. I used your video to tune it up and it's running awesome!! I went back to my old saw and tuned it up and it's running like new !!!! I also have a gas hedge trimmer that wouldn't run and now it's running like new !!!! This video literally just saved me about $1000 !!! Well done!!
  • The finest saw tuning guide I've yet seen. Thanks man, got my saw running again.
  • @iand9992
First rate info, just retuned my Oleo Mac 400, after watching your video. Clear & concise. As you say over the pond Great Job and thanks again

This is by far the best narrated "how to adjust your 455 Rancher" video I've ever watched! Thank you!
  • American Piddler is the Man. There's no way I would have know about the spline set screws. Providing the link to get it was very helpful. Now I'll go out and se if I learned anything.

Hands down the best video for getting a chainsaw back to spec for fuel adjustment. My Husq 460 Rancher was in need of serious maintenance. Changed out the air filter, spark plug, new chain, set the bar and chain tension and other lube requirements. THEN I came across this video. I had the right tools already but just couldn't get it to run good. I followed these guidelines in front of my PC, then set the saw down. Took it out in the morning and it started right up! Did the fine tuning instructions and now it is as good as when it was brand new! Thanks Piddler!
  • I am a 76 year old know it all. Loved your video presentation .top quality . didn,t learn anything new but then I am a mr know it all. I loved the Walbro presentation if you plan to leave your chainsaw / strimmer unused for more than six weeks drain the fuel out and refill with fresh fuel-mix.
  • Well done! I'm the tool guy for our shop. I maintain and fix about $200k of machines and tools. I'm constantly researching info, parts, troubleshooting and repairs on every kind of tool one can think of. This is the best small engine carb tutorial on the internet. Got the shop's Poulan Chainsaw working after rebuilding it due to rotted fuel lines. Wouldn't run until I did your tuning tips. Thanks. Hopefully you're starting to get some kick backs from all the ad money YouTube is making off you by now. Cheers.

THANKS! I'm an auto technician, but I don't work on two-strokes very often. Your video is one of the best ones I've seen yet, and yet it contains 1000 less words than some other videos. You got right to the point, and clearly described the process. I was fixing a friend's Husky 55 (new carb, among many other parts) and got the screws tweaked just right, and now it's powerful and snappy. Thanks for taking the time to make a well-thought out, intelligent, no BS video. Cheers!

even though an old video on chainsaw tuning, i was fortunate to run into this video just the right timing. i checked all over UT and this was the most easiest one to follow. i did exactly as he said and wrote the steps to follow. next morning i put the chainsaw blade area on the vise as shown in video and wood blocks to keep it proper heigh level. i got the common tools to fit into the holes. did as he said. took me couple pull and it started. while running, i adjusted the low/high and idle as he prescribed. now this chainsaw will be very useful to cutdown firewood for my grill. thanks for the belated video.Bob
  • I want to say thank you!! Your presentation was easy to follow, and you are well-spoken. I appreciate you taking the extra time to point out the danger area of the high side. My saws run like new again. Thanks again. 👍🏻
  • Best explanation for chainsaw carburetor tuning on the net. Very easy to understand.
  • @SimpleLife1971
This is where I learned to properly tune my Husqvarna 455because no one takes care of my tools better than me! Thanks in advance!
  • Thanks man, the rancher is running like a champ again between your video and the woman that shows how to pull the carb off of one of these.
  • @kongcheung9403
I see so many tuna carburetor adjustment, and I think you’re the best because they didn’t tell you you got a turn in the only lotta lotta people just do it but they don’t tell you turn in and turn out. Thank you.
  • Thought my saw needed a new carburetor. After taking it apart and cleaning it good... following these instructions got it running awesome! Thanks for the video!
  • @balenaluba4215
I didn't have any Idea about 2 stroke engines, now I'm a level 99 chainsaw pro, thank you.
  • @chrisweigand1817
THANK YOU! I just got a brand new Husqvarna 435. It's my first gas chainsaw. I been borrowing my neighbors for years so I know how to run one but buy no means no haw to fi or tune one. My new saw will not stay on. It starts but the second I hit the trigger it dies. Because I got it on amazon from a third party seller its a nightmare to return and get a replacement. I am looking at it as a blessing in disguise. the tools are on the way and thanks to you and this video I will know how to tune my saw. mi have watched a dozen of these videos and yours is hands down the clearest to follow for a new saw owner. THANK YOU
