I've watched a few video of Rufford Ford, and I don't understand why people take the risk, the detour is ~2 miles, vs a wrecked car. Pointless.

Ah I miss all the Rufford Ford videos! :( watching some people drive in to what was effectively a small Lake then them being all shocked that they couldn't drive on or through water up past their bonnet was just hilarious. I watched those vids for hours lol x

There is no left or right turn on a roundabout. Right indicator signifies going round the roundabout, left indicator signifies exiting the roundabout. The drivers were guilty of indicating too early, or most likely not understanding how indicating on roundabouts works.

1:15. Why is this clip in the video? Perfect visibility with no moving or stationary hazards to worry about, took corner at sensible speed while indicating, and had to be on the wrong side of the road he was turning into within about 20 metres due to parked vehicles. It also saves fuel and reduces emissions caused by slowing down further for sharper corner and speeding up again.

6:34. If you don't want to get overtaken on the inside on a dual carriageway with a 50mph limit, don't sit in lane two, overtaking nothing while doing 45 ! Yes, I heard the satnav giving you instructions for 600 yards time, but that is plenty of time to move back and allow someone to pass. I guess you were short of clips this week?
