Doc Holliday: The TRUE STORY Of A Wild West Legend.
The True Story Of Doc Holliday, a sickly dentist and gambler turned deadly gunman, Doc Holliday made history in Tombstone during the iconic Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Doc Holliday was one of the most famous characters in the Wild West – and this is his story. Doc Holliday was a man of many facets – a gambler, a wanderer, a gentleman, and a skilled gunfighter. He also counted Wyatt Earp among his friends and, interestingly, became a deputy in Tombstone, Arizona, prior to the infamous gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

John Henry Holliday (Halliday) is my great, great Uncle. He was of Scottish heritage and our families all settled in Georgia. My family settled in Tatnall County, in Reidsville. Their original Sir name is Halliday but due to census mistakes it became Holliday. It explains a lot of my character and why I've loved living in the Wild, wild West for 52 years! There was a time no one could outdrink me and I was one helluv a shot! We all have those blue eyes too!

Whatever Doc Holiday's vices, his virtue of loyalty made up for all of them.

There is only one Doc Holliday for me and that is Val Kilmer (in Tombstone).

Around 29 minutes, the AI narration went completely goofy.

A very good story. Pity about the bad English but I found it understandable enough.

Doc Holiday was not from Texas. His was Griffin, GA
  • I love these movies. But like the one with Kurt Russell more. I love Costner but the movie with Russell was better to me!

It was a good story, I enjoyed it. It would be nice if the narrator could actually pronounce the words that he's trying to read read!
  • Doc Holliday was a brave man he did not kill Johnny Ringo as the movie shows as a matter of fact Ringo was shot while he was drunk and passed out and in all probability buckskin Frank Leslie killed him. Billy brackenridge ran into Ringo who was so drunk and helpless he tried to get him to follow him home but Ringo was stubborn. About 1 mi down the trail he ran into buckskin Leslie who admitted he was looking for Ringo. Since Breckenridge knew that Ringo had back buckskin down this earlier in the day he did not tell buckskin that he had ran into Ringo. A few minutes later he heard a single shot. After murdering his live-in girlfriend buckskin told a dog who he got friendly with he came upon a drunk passed out Ringo and took the opportunity to shoot him and cut off some hair for a souvenir. Doc Holliday was 700 mi away and Wyatt Earp was 900 mi away and this has been verified by multiple multiple people. Including people who despised Wyatt and certainly would not lie for him. Johnny Ringo challenge Wyatt Earp to at least two fights and Wyatt Earp declined both times the second time doc Holliday did square up againstRingo but the mayor broke it up in both were arrested for carrying firearms. Ringo said he was going to pull the mayor away and pull anyway but he saw that doc Holliday considered it over since the mayor broke it up and he did not pull. No one knows how a gun fight between Ringo and dunk holiday would have played out but doc Holliday himself believed that Ringo might be the only one capable of killing him and putting him out of his misery rather than dying from tuberculosis. Doc Holliday would drink with Ringo and Ringo said that it's a shame that you are not on our side. Doc said it is a shame but you may be the only one that could help me win a bet he said I bet myself in a bullet would take me out before TB. Ringo said I would be glad to oblige doc and do the same for your friends jerking a thumb toward the Earps. It would be a shame if I killed you because I do like you once again there is no way possible that Wyatt Earp or Don holiday killed Ringo and I believe the account of buckskin Frank Leslie

I started to be distracted by the flashing movie clips then it got scary and I forgot the audio entirely. Next thing you know, I'm on the phone with the VA Hotline. And anyway, that ain't the way I heard it. I'll stick with Wild West Extravaganza, where he includes references to his research and supporting extrinsics. Plus he's not a robot.
  • The inconsistent pronunciation of the same words is hilarious. I love these old stories though.

If this is a computer narration, I have no fear of artificial "intelligence"...

23:04 Fun fact: Boot Hill cemetery is actually downhill not uphill as depicted in the movie.
