I have this game and love it. HOWEVER I believe that if you decide to discard on your turn: You have to discard your entire hand. Meaning all your cards which means that when your turn comes around again, you will have no cards to play, then have to draw back up to your draw limit. I believe that is what the rules state? Unless I have been playing it wrong, that is how it was taught to me, and it seems to say that in the rules though it is slightly unclear. Also there are cards that will affect your draw limit. Some positive cards might add one to your draw limit. Meaning you start with 5 but now your draw limit is 6. Also just a quick tip for any new players: Make sure you try to get as many negative points on a family member before killing them. Alot of people I play with, will focus on just geting a few negative points on a person than kill them as soon as possible. I have won alot of games this way, even if I didn't kill my entire family I have ended up winning cause I loaded alot of negative points on the family members I killed off. Cause you want the most negative points. That funny moment when I play with a friend, they kill their entire family and go: "I won!" Then I go: "Count up your negative points. Cause you don't win by killing off your family first, you win by having the most negative points...." The shock value from people when they realized their mistake is actually kinda funny. Note I do tell people that you need the most negative points to win. Xd It's just a rookie mistake. I probably did that too.

question: you can kill off other players characters, as long as they have a negative Pathos point total, correct?

Can the game be played as a solo but as two players ? Thanks.
  • You must discard your entire hand as per the rules of Second Edition
