I think the things with YouTube is it's like a lottery. You'll eventually post that one video that gets 100,000 views that will finally boost the channel. Problem is it could be a decade before you get there :(

The one thing I found out with the discrepancy between how much LBC I used to get in the beginning compared to now when watching content is that Odysee lost that case against the SEC. I forgot about that. Other bigger accounts were actually cashing out pretty well every month before the lawsuit was lost and they had to be regulated, (I think Elijah Schaefer was making $3000 a month on Odysee at one point). It's unfortunate but we know why they did this because regulation is the first step in the government controlling your business. I still prefer using Odysee, of course. Let's just hope nothing comes out of this ridiculous bill to try and ban TikTok, because we know their end goal is to be able to ban/censor websites where people are able to get uncensored information/free speech.

Does anybody know how to turn off that purple background on Odysee. I mean, I like the color purple, but not for a background, I want solid black, and it's nowhere in the Appearance or theme settings. I don't care about monetization or earnings, in 15 years and 500 videos I never made a cent off pewtewb, just want to gtfoPewwtewb because of their constant robot comment censorship which rubs all our fur the wrong way.

think ill use odysee just to have a backup way to advertise myself for patreon and kofi in case youtube decides to be a d*ldo and delete my channel out of nowhere or demonetize me :D
