For a vehicle this large, it's truly sad that they no longer offer this vehicle in 2500 and 3500 series.
  • @Oaky
Finally, a family vehicle over $100K

I bought a new 2001 Suburban with decent options, comfy cloth seats (not microfiber garbage), 5.3L 2wd for $33k out the door, including paying additional for GM extended warranty for 7/70. It was a fantastic vehicle. Should’ve never gotten rid of it.

Wake me up when its on the 2500 chassis like its supposed to be.

    A column transmission shifter?! YES!

You’ll love this. I was a professional musician for 50 years. I used to play gigs with a drummer named Pee Wee. He was 5 feet tall on a good day. More like 5’ 10”. This was in the late 80’s. He was in his 70’s at the time. He drove a beat up faded and a bit rusty blue early 1970’s Suburban. He used to put his drum kit in the back of course. Problem was that during the drive to the gig his drum kit slid forward. But nothing stopped Pee Wee. He had a 6 foot garden rake that he would use to pull his drums back so he could grab them. I swear this is true. Pee Wee was a wonderful drummer and the happiest man I ever met. He made me happy every time I was in his presence! RIP

Those 24” tire are going to cost a fortune at the tire shop 😂

I love my 21 Suburban LS. All the standard features is exactly what I needed. No tv screen for a speedometer. I even get 23 miles per gallon on I-69 long trips.

Finally a modern column shifter and not the awkward button setup. I thought it was bogus that they claim that column shifter takes up space but the button shifter does not.😂😂😂
  • I love the design. I think it's very attractive. And I would love to see TFL do a review of a 9 seater model. That's the kind of spec that no dealer in the nation will likely ever stock.

Glad shifter is back on the steering column. Like the 9 seat and diesel options on the LS. Adding the air suspension to the LS would make it a great tow vehicle for big families that need to eliminate sag and the most payload possible instead of the bells and whistles on the higher trims.

I wish the seat pads were bigger and softer like old American cars

My Grandma had a ‘99 for her and 2 miniature poodles. The refreshed came out in 2001 and she got one. Lord knows she would’ve still been been upgrading. Love em

I may be in the minority, but I'm glad they didn't stray too far from the styling of the 21+ Tahoe/Suburban. Nice update to the taillamps and rear styling. 24" wheels will be keeping tire shops well flush with cash for sure!😂 The dash looks ok, but I hate this trend of BIG SCREEN ALL THE THINGS! Takes away any type of individualism of the design. And yes, LZO on the Z71 FINALLY! Sadly however, $100K Suburbans will be the norm for the cool features.
  • @yissibiiyte
I hate this trend of wheels getting more and more oversized. Not everyone wants to break their spine going over a speed bump just to look cool.
  • @42luke93
Glad they brought the column shifter back. But it is electronic sadly. Interior is really nice, more like a Cadillac Escalade!
  • @user-mz2cg6pl1b
It looks good. 305 hp and 495 lb ft of torque, in the diesel, sounds great as well.
  • @mitchstein288
I like it. I'm glad it stays pretty true to the roots and they didn't totally reinvent it. The Suburban as is is a pretty useful vehicle. They didn't get too cute with it, which is good. I'm curious on what trims you'll be able to get Supercruise. Hopefully they'll put it on middle of the road packages as well.
  • @LacDole
Glad they brought back front fog lights. 28-gal fuel tank is nice too compared to the Tahoe's 24-gal.
  • Getting rid of the push/pull buttons is the best thing they did. Makes me consider a Tahoe for my next purchase.
