    I never used a table saw before and I bought one and even I was astounded by the sheer stupidity of that guard. I tried using it a few times and just ended up taking it off. Use common sense and safety techniques when operating ANY power tool and you will minimize injury chances. Don't stand in the path of possible ejecta, don't cross paths with the blade with any body parts...etc. Hell, I wear a full face guard because I a paranoid.

    ahhh someone that understands that kickback and ejection are 2 different conditions. Are you a retired designer/engineer? Yup that guard was designed by a committee trying their best to make the bureaucrats look as stupid as they always are.

    Wells you don’t use because like you said don’t appreciate you fingers god give to you again my friend back in Colombia because don’t use cover on the blade piece wood kick back was very sharp piece stuck in his chest hospital he was lucky miss his heart and when I see that situation I say to my self is so many ways to avoid that kick back when you don’t control the the accident to happen if brains don’t connect to danger zone any way you have you opinion I have my I like to keep my fingers ah now you talking sense thanks I know is something time the gards stop to see properly is some many ways to make the gard more interesting but table saw is dangerously machine to whit and is the more important machine in woodworking trade thanks to listening to I say hello from London and Colombia 🇨🇴 I take my chances whit the guard on actually I like to see America whit my fingers in my hands 🙌 very very important an remember god create human being perfect whit 40 fingers two legs two arms one brain I see you my narrow mind friend good luck I don’t like you opinions thanks 🙏
