Can't believe that Spongebob is just one long running Trueman Show series.
  • Okay but you can't convince me that Sandy hasn't grown attached to Bikini Bottom and the people she knows there. I really would love a story like that where she came for the job, but stayed because she actually cares about SpongeBob and co. now
  • 6:11 to add to that, the episode was about SpongeBob not wanting to leave his house, and Patrick and Sandy were running out of time and ideas to persuade SpongeBob to get out, so that must’ve been why they felt the need to meddle with the show directly

Imagine the creators are like "Man, he found out."

“It’s just a kids show” This dude : “NOT TO ME”

Check out season 5 episode “spy buddies”. I think it supports your theory about sandy being a spy. SpongeBob and patrick come to sandy for help with some spy gear. She says a bunch of things like oh what would a spy need, then proceeds to pull out various spying items. Then when they ask to borrow them she says “oh no I’d never let you touch these.” PROVING THAT THEY ARE HERS AND SHE USES THEM SO MUCH THEY ARE PRECIOUS

I love how much depth this show truly has when most folk will just pass it off as some kids show and pay it no mind

Never forget according to the holiday short, “Plankton’s Holiday Hits”, Bikini Bottom is the 51st US State.

i’d like to add on the fact that patchy the pirate is literally a fan of spongebob INSIDE THE SHOW

16:25 One thing that I noticed that supports your theory of Mr. Krabs spying on the characters for the show is the camera's angles. On all of the monitors, the angle shows the footage of certain places as it is shown in the show (if that makes sense) Also, why would Mr. Krabs have a hidden security system that shows the inside of the Krusty Krab?
  • When I was a boy, we had Jacques Cousteau. He had an accent and narrated underwater nature shows. I assumed the Spongebob narrator was an homage to him.
  • “I believe, both the gorilla and the horse he rides away on, are humans in costumes”. Hmmmm yes...... That makes sense.

DUDE I had the episode of spongebob where he's afraid of going outside in the background. THE CLIP OF THE GORRILLA COMING OUT OF THE COSTUME WAS 1 FUCKING SECOND OUT OF SYNCH WITH MY TV (5:04). my entire reality just shattered

this is probably my third time watching this series. that’s how you KNOW it’s good. and like, it’s not just the don’t wake the muse stuff (don’t worry, i am so freaking excited for the next episode and it truly is genius) but the theories themselves are so well done. the amount of effort that went into these, especially the later one. they get to be so insanely far out there yet you still managed to make a convincing case. i absolutely adore this channel/series. it was so genius to use spongebob theories for an ARG. idk if you’ve seen the Analog Horror of Alvin and the Chipmunks (can’t remember the guys name but his channel is awesome), but his videos are awesome as well, although they are not as scary and obviously him trolling. i believe fake theories/documentaries based on nostalgia combined with horror/realism is genius. even though his are very obviously made as a joke, i believe that this “genre” overall is going to be very successful when done well. anyways sorry for rambling, i just love this series and genre so much and am excited to see what else you have to offer in the future, whether you continue with the crazy kids show theories or make more short horror films. keep up the great work!!

ok but can we talk about that one time squidward said “why does every 11 minutes of my life have to be misery” like bruh he knows how long the show is going ofc he knows he’s on tv
  • @TabbyDapperSir
The theories are getting more and more plausible. He’s gaining awareness
  • @hackidreemurr
I'm convinced that Squidward is aware of the television show, too. In two episodes, he made a reference to the lenth of most episodes (11 minutes) and the reason how he can afford a lot of expensive things despite being poorly paid by Mr. Krabs is because he is already well paid by the production team, which also explains why Spongebob and Patrick aren't living in complete poverty either. That could also be an explanation why Squidward didn't move away, since he has been payed by the production team to stay in Bikini Bottom for entertainment and every attempt of him moving away was sabotaged by the plot
