Remember this is to save money and to service and tune your own rifle only, once tuned make sure the rifle is set below 12 foot pounds. Not for idiots that want to try power there rifles over the legal limit as if caught you will be charged for possession of a firearm. Part three will show power adjustment anti tamper removal.Warning please don't do this work if your competent in doing so and please make sure any work you do check your power and adjust witching the legal limit, iv made this video as there's not a legal requirement to have anti tamper parts in your rifle as long it's at the legal power also it's so you can fix, tune and service your own rifle without having to send them off to get a seal chance or other simple work that will cost you a fortune and make others more money.

Did you ever post part three? I've only just come across your videos and have started to service my S410. I've seen a neat looking screw which can be put in place of the transfer valve pin. But I don't want to damage my rifle by trying to remove the anti tamper pin in the wrong way. Any advice on how to take the anti tamper pin out would be much appreciated. As would more videos on the air arms S410 in general. Thanks for your excellent videos

Great videos. Please keep them coming. Cant wait for Part 3. How much power increase can I expect by doing the tuning?I dont have a chrono but I dont live in the UK and not restricted by the 12 fpe limit. I will go down that road only if the power increase is worth it. Thanks

hi, just wondering when part 3 is coming out, i have already removed the anti tamper that covers the power adjuster grub screw on my s400 as it was only puting out 10.2 ftlb in 22 and was producing 120 shots before pelet drop off, just curious to see how you do it as i used a dremil to grind it down then drilled it with a 2mm pilot bit untill it broke threw then drilled the rest out with a bigger bit, then turned the rifle over and the rest of the anti tamper fell out leaving the grub screw showing that was lock tighted in, so made the adjustment by turning the grub screw anti clockwise and is now producing 11.56 ftlb but think i should lock tight the grub screw back in so it does not move from the set position plus iv noticed when i take a shot there is ever so slightly a tiny bit of air passes out through the grub screw. you can't feel it but i noticed when i first drilled the anti tamper out and adjusted the grub screw i took a dry shot and so metal dust slightly blow out of the hole so i knew that air must be passing up the threads of the grub screw from the transfer port. i thought there might be another srew on top holding and sealing the grub screw in place but it just must have been lock tighted in and then the anti tamper sealing it off. what are your thoughts on this, mine is the s400 2009 model in .22. when are you doing the next video, part 3. cheers in advance. regards, Andy.

I just found out that there is a .22 gun which can easily be altered to 25 fpe and the best is: it is the lowest priced PCP ever with 200 pounds. It even has a 7 shot rotary magazine... the SPA PR900W. The gun is really excellent for the money and when you properly clean the barrel, it is very accurate. It stacks pellets at 25 yards. It even comes with a second air transfer port (at least in my country which also has a 12 fpe limit) of a larger diameter in the box. You can literally take the gun apart in 15 minutes, put in the "real" air transfer port and your .22 goes from 550 to 750 - 850 fps. The "anti tamper" device is probably the manometer which is designed to be removed only with a special tool but it is so loosely inserted that you can easily turn it out with pliers. The whole process: drop the air pressure to about 80 bar by firing, carefully unscrew manometer a bit and wait until all the air escapes then unscrew it completely. Remove the three stock screws, take the gun out of the stock. Loosen barrel band with the rear sight on it and push it forward towards the muzzle. Loosen the screw at the underside of the very end of the gun (towards the stock) and take out the spring and spring centering rod. Loosen the screw in the breech and lift the barrel off the air cartridge - here you are. The small round brass piece with the hole in it is the air transfer port. Switch to the bigger hole or if it is not available, widen the hole to 1/8". Reassemble the reverse way and you got yourself a 25+ fpe gun in .22 caliber. Not that I would recommend anybody doing it...
