My husband is a plant manager of Ames here in Tennessee! Not only did we make trench shovels, we also made cannons! Ames is still in business to this day. That shovel is an awesome find! Love the video ✝️💕🇺🇸

One thing I learned about metal detecting is to never fall in love with the treasure until you're done hunting or you'll be stuck admiring all the treasure you have and forgetting about the treasure that is still to be found
  • This guy is great, super smart, humble and successful. Literally parks his helicopter on top the mountain like a boss to go explore. Utah is such a great state.

The item you unwrapped at 15:50 is a carving set. One end is a fork the other end is a knife. They were imported in MASS from India in the 60s and 70s and sold in retail import shops, notable Pier 1. I had one back in the day.
  • They got more treasure in the last 21 minutes than oak island has their entire show
  • The real treasure is having that helicopter and the friends to go exploring with.
  • The Watkins bottle was 11 fl. oz. and could have contained Red Liniment, White (Camphor) Liniment, Vanilla Extract, or Cough Medicine. All were packaged in this bottle. The entrenching tool was manufactured in the U.S. by Ames company and was made in 1944 for American troops. The Indian carving set looked like one of the cheap tourist types that are still being made.

Love that “passive aggressive “ line! Right On, HeavyD! Diesel Dave : just love love love your chill ways…..the two D’s balance each other so well!
  • Hey Heavy D my mom was very happy you went and ate at their restaurant B.C. Chicken in Kaysville Ut. She even took a picture with you and was talking about it for weeks. Thank you you made her day. :)

Hey guys. Greetings from New Zealand. Many years ago, my late father had the same knife and fork set. It's for carving the Sunday roast. You're quite right it was made in India, probably in the 1940's and the wood is Indian Teak with brass fittings. Great find.

Being friends with Heavy D must be wild. Any given day he could call you up for an adventure.
  • @Funnhouse
I bet the old timer that buried that treasure would be happy that his stash was shared so widely on a technology he couldn't have conceived of.

WOW! Great video . The last 30 seconds or so were the best for me. I see the water reflect the right hand wall as the chopper passes over the sandbar below. epic photography . Thanks for taking us with you on your amazing journeys and making me anyways feel like I'm right there with you . Love you guys. Many blessings.
  • I want to believe you stumbled across all that, but no way! 100% placed there haha 😂
  • @zhannymc1043
The buried shovel is an actual WWII Military AMES 1940s Folding Trench Shovel. Nice find
