The fact that they didn't cast professional dancers for the original Footloose is part of what makes it awesome.

"I'm not afraid of playing anything" I 100% believe him
  • Kevin is one of those astonishingly versatile actors that makes you scratch your head over why he hasn't won more industry awards. He's 100% believable as a villain and as a hero. And he seems like a genuinely nice guy to boot.

I’ll never forget the prison guard in “the Sleepers”...He’s a great actor

How tf is this guy 61 yrs old??? He looks amazing!

Nokes is one of the most disgusting and evil characters I've ever seen in any movie. That part where the boys shoot him 7 times in the diner is so satisfying to watch. All credit to Kevin for making such a memorable and chilling impression.

That scene in Mystic River is the hardest piece of cinema I have ever watched. The shock, grief and horror juxtaposition with Bacon's stillness is just too real. In my opinion, it is one of the most charged scenes in the history of film making. And nothing about it is gratuitous. The scene holds us for a moment — to actually experience the nightmare that life can present — just in case we are too asleep in our everyday trivialities and forget how precious love and life really is.

Soon he'll be perfectly seasoned to play Jim Gordon in a Batman film.
  • The sheer amount of iconic movies this man has been in is amazing. I wish they'd done Murder in the First (1995) as well. That's got to be his best dramatic performance of all time, and it's entirely underrated.

Can’t believe “She’s Having a Baby” wasn’t mentioned. He was absolutely hilarious in that one. Kevin is a master of all genres. He’s great with comedy, drama, action, horror, you name it. Should have a few statues on his shelf!
  • @Surefire11B
Tremors is one of the most under-rated movies of all time. So close to being a perfect movie.
  • @brittanyg.8644
A Few Good Men was great for all talent involved. Never gets old.
  • One of his best characters was in Stir of Echos, a truly iconic film. I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned here.
  • One of the few actors that started young and only became a better person. It's really hard not to like Kevin bacon. He's become a national treasure

He is ageing gracefully. He looks so good. Wow
  • @CrazyDiamond75
The Woodsman was such a risky performance but Kevin really was phenomenal in it and made the movie emotional and thought provoking.

He should have been recognized by the Academy for Sleepers. He was criminally underrated in that film. His character, Sean Nokes, was one of the most evil characters I've ever seen on screen before and Mr. Bacon played him perfectly!
