Holy heck, board game dev logs are criminally underrated and we need more documentation on the creation of them. Thank you!

"Things on the market weren't enough for me, so i decided to make my own game" This sounds like the backstory of a forever DM in DND

Holy crap that was the most impulse-ass buy I've made in my life. This is awesome stuff dude! The video was super inspiring, and then the moment you said you didn't have much left in stock, I made a mad dash to the checkout haha. I'm moving soon, and I can't wait for this to be the first game I play with my new roommates! Best of luck with your future projects!

I cannot explain just how much I love the art for the game. It’s wonderful!
  • @algs5483
I thought this happened like, recently, not 2/3 years ago.
  • This is super inspiring because I’ve always wanted to publish a board game and I’ve worked on many throughout the years but I always stopped development. Now I’ve been slowly crafting one, making it a part of my routine everyday, and I’m loving the process more than ever. Thanks for sharing!

I would really love to buy a PDF and print myself. I live outside of the US and the shipping is really expensive :(
  • @simset5875
You should officially bring it to tabletop simulator, i feel like that would be a big advert for the game

Great video as always Goodgis! I still think back to those days in college, working like crazy to finish everything for The Keeyp and for school. Thanks to everyone who made the Keeyp possible. It was fun while it lasted! 😁 On to the next thing!

Ah!! This game looks just so beautifully elegant! That art style is absolutely delightful and the mechanics look so simple. Thank you for sharing how you started with notecards and frustrated family members. That kind of failure is what keeps holding me back from my own projects, so thank you for sharing this inspiring journey.
  • Man, you definitely need to reprint the game, and put it up again! This time with international shipping, so I can get one. 😃

Aaaaawh, I can't believe I didn't get this video recommended to me while the Kickstarter was live! It looks great, loved seeing the development.

You know, three years ago I came up with an idea for a game called Deeper Dungeons. It was a co-op card game, where you open doors to discover rooms, and each room has a chance to contain nothing, an enemy, or a treasure (draw from the item deck) The goal of the game was to get OUT of the dungeons by finding the set of stairs that were placed somewhere it the deck. I made it completely by hand, and still think about remaking it and publishing today. Inspiration: GOT.

Tbh, if you charged more, I’m sure it would’ve been a success! Even at $35-40, it would do amazing
  • @SilverlyBee
Wow this is incredible! It's so well made, I loved the artstyle
  • @sethusk
Why does Youtube recommend this to me know when it's impossible to get except print and play? Man, it looks pretty great. Nice work on rolling up your sleeves and just saying, "Guess I'll have to do it myself!"
