This oil painting of a mountain horizon at sunrise will be featured on the 2024 Federal Duck Stamp carrier, the dollar bill-sized sheet the stamp comes on. The drake pintail spots the hen as she is cupped in the air, arriving for another morning. Enjoy as I paint the fine details of the landscape and the bird's features while piano plays in the background.
