Laptop kept shutting down, time for a little maintenance on the cooling system. Full disassembly and reassembly. Hopefully this helps someone, these are great computers, but the colling system is very restricted, and if dusty, doesn't work at all. If you want to ask about doing this on a different model, they're all slightly different, I won't have much info.

These laptops are still sold as of this publishing, Intel i7 processor, nVidia GPU, 16GB DDR4. Great little rig.

I try and post a new vid every Friday, and if I don't, it's probably because I'm badly hurt to be honest with you, and if you don't hear from me in say three weeks, well for sure I'm a goner...month, tops....

Don't find me on facebook,
Can't see me on instantgamms
Tweeters are just in my speakers.
Knock knock tik tok

(I just don't do social media, I don't see that it does anything except make people hate each other, and I really don't feel like hating on anyone today.)

Find me also on Bitchute, Rumble, Odysee, and soon many others!

Any idea where I can buy replacement fans for this model? I’m having a hard time finding them.

Would WD40 Specialist Contact Cleaner be alright to use for cleaning the old thermal paste off?
  • Nice video. But only 1 mistake i found. You need to unplug the connector of battery, because you can damage motherboard
