  • Hi. Love your channel. My grandma used to cook pudding on the stove with milk. I was too young to remember her ingredients, but your video reminds me of her pudding. She made it on the stove hot milk and chocolate. When it cooled in the refrigerator it had a hard "skin" film on the top, under neath was smooth and creamy.
  • I made it today. I just put two cups of sugar and it was still very sweet. I think I would add it to another dessert, like cake, rather than eat it on its own. But it's very nice. 👍🏼 Edit: I thought the recipe was saying two or three cups of sugar. Now I see it's two thirds of a cup of sugar. No wonder it's so sweet. 🤣

En Cuba le decimos natilla...yo la preparo mucho aquí para mi familia..es deliciosa.
  • In India, we make almost a similar dessert, but without using the eggs. We call it " Mishti Doi " (sweet curd). After adding the boiled milk into the caramel, we add some green cardamom powder and let the milk become little warm. Then add 2/3 spoonful of plain curd and let it set for 5/6 hours. Then keep the dessert in the fridge. That's it. Its delicious and very soothing.

Deve ter gosto de pudim! Parece muito bom! E intercalando com biscoitos deve ficar melhor ainda! Vou fazer. Obrigada pela dica.

In the Philippines, it's almost similar to our "leche flan", an egg custard but w/o the cornstarch , poured on a caramel base, steamed, then served with the caramel base on top.

Looks yummy. In Sri Lanka we make Wattalappam something similar to this. It's made with eggs, juggery, coconut milk and flavoured with cardamom. It's a traditional dessert made by Muslims.

Yes, there is a dessert or a component of desserts like this. It is basically caramel pastry cream in a ramekin. Looks good, I'll try it some time. In America many people call it pudding but I'm sure the store bought varieties are full of chemicals etc.

i remember buying a pack of this stuff from the store, they come in little class bowls, just like the one in the video but smaller. you put it in the oven, and it’s very soft and delicious. i haven’t had it in a while though, but it’s good.
