Also, Mrs Palmer is a terrible employee because she just treated badly to the owner who was going undercover. Then, she put all the stolen merchandise in her locker to blame other customers and to keep the stuff to herself. Employees must understand the situation in shoplifting and managing the department store.

They should arrest her, sentence her to 7 years in prison, and make her pay for everything.

Returning an outfit for full refund, is not even "renting," it. It's borrowing, like a library. When I worked at Sak's Off 5th, we had customers wanting to return lots of damaged gowns, after Christmas, that they smeared makeup down the front, tore the hem on a high heel, food stains, yet wanted a refund. 1 twit had the nerve to call & ask, "if she spilled a drink down the dress, could she return it, for a full refund." I told her, "No, we have no control over your spilled drinks, & we are not a library for you to borrow clothes. You damage it, you buy it." The floor manager confirmed this.
