  • So, did the cars universe have their own version of 9/11? And if so, were the planes themselves the terrorists, or were they hijacked by other cars?
  • It always bugged me how there is actual architecture in the world of Cars, you mean these vehicles use stairs?!
  • @alex_-yz9to
i like how the entire video goes by, uses several scenes of that one short... and never once acknowledges that aliens also exist in the cars universe

As I got older I started to question the cars universe, and one of the main things is, luxury cars like ferrari and bugatti are consider to be "hot/sexy/high status cars", but you'd assume they were born that brand, so they literally were born with privilege?

Weirdly, wheels are the equivalent to feet, so that means that when Sally says she likes Francesco's open wheels...
  • Say what you want about Cars 2, but the scene where Rod Redline literally died from the torture by getting blasted with a laser is one of the most brutal Pixar death scene ever, let alone the fact that it's still G-Rated. Things just went from 0 to 100 percent real quick.

I think the reason people get hung up on the cars movies is because pixar is usually decent to incredible at world building, but this frachise has just the worst worldbuilding of all time. Thankfully most of the cars movies have good characters and stories to distract you from that
  • I think the hood is a lot more like a nose than a rib cage. It’s right under the eyes and above the mouth, when Mater puts his hood back on his voice gets all nasally, and when he sneezes it falls off.
  • 5:30 About Celine: one thing I don't see enough people talk about is that she has a steering wheel, while other cars don't seem to have that. The only reason she would have that is if people used to exist in this world and drove her. She is probably one of the earliest "sentient" cars that existed. At first the eyes were put in the place of the headlights because people still needed to see. Once the cars became fully autonomous and sentient, the eyes were put where the front window usually is.
  • I love how when people ask logical questions about any other movie, the automatic response is "it doesn't matter, enjoy the movie."... EXCEPT for the Cars movies, and I'm glad Choopo actually addresses this lol

Choopo: None of it matters! Also Choopo: makes a huge rant about the importance of the forklifts
  • @Bardia006plus1
the biggest question is:HOW THE HELL THE CARS IN THIS UNIVERS ARE GETTING BORN??!!!
  • My theory is that cars is a VR game played by the humans from wall e. It makes the most sense and it helps me sleep at night

I honestly think if Cars 2 didn't happen, people wouldn't get caught up in questioning every minor detail about how things in the world of Cars functions. Cars 1 did a decent job trying to make the setting feasable for its inhabitants. They drink oil through straws because they have no hands, wheel locks act as handcuffs, phones don't have any handles and are automatic because they can't hold anything, etc.
  • @Vixarox
The biggest take away I got from this video is that Planes has a sequel
  • @nexusgalaxy9249
No crazy, unhinged multiverses or alternate timeline where Lightning McQueen tells you to floss your skin?
  • @Gambito99100
What makes us question the Cars universe more than other fictional universes is the fact that the Cars universe doesn't seem to be built with cars in mind, being a 1:1 copy of our world but with cars as the living beings will make us question everything bc we can see it's a world clearly made by and for humans, but inhabited by cars
  • @GMMReviews
I never realised how horrifying the existence of trains is in the Cars Universe...
  • @arthursimao8814
friendly reminder that Pixar made World War 2 canon in this universe, HE existed
