The guys who left Alabama left because one there wouldn't be enough scholarship spots, and two because they would all have gotten less playing time this year vs last year. I don't think you should deduct points for people leaving when the people replacing them are clear upgrades. Even someone like Rylan Griffen who is a good player and shot 39.2% from 3 last year he gets replaced by someone who shot 41.6% from 3 last year and 41.5% the year before. The others who left would have struggled to find minutes. There are no flaws on this roster, and Alabama has P5 starters on the bench at every single position.

There doesn't have to be a one and done with this roster. These big time freshman can play a role early and thrive later in the season.
  • Not enough minutes to go around. Hopefully they can retain some of those freshmen that may not play much.

Jarin will play a lot I think as the 7th man
