  • Again I get countered hard, I lead grass, ran into talon, lead talon, ran into a swampert , like this.. lead vigo, get vigo and lose cmp, charja also, lose cmp every time..:
  • Typhlosion has been my go to. Thunder punches in 2 incinerates is criminal
  • What I’ve learned from this meta is that it’s even more stale than Spring Cup, which I didn’t think it was even possible 🤪
  • been doing solid with quag, charjabug, and toxapex. rank 1 toxapex has ultimately been alot of fun to use. alot of ppl try throwin vig against quag swap right into toxapex and most top left haha
  • Quag and toxapex are everywhere. Jellicent is a strong pick to counter them in my current elo range.
  • @has1er92
I really like Beedrill. It did well against Toxapex and Charjabug. You should also beat vigoroth with Beedrill
  • The key thing w vigoroth is i see people immediately go for that body slam. If your matchup is good then you sandbag up to rock slide and then slam, 9 out of 10 times they shield to block slide and you follow with second slam and they shield again, so even if vigoroth dies you'll move to next phase up two shields.

Another sneaky play. Pidgeot lead with instant brave bird, then went to Vig once defence drops. I have no shielded that thinking it would be feather dance and basically instantly lost the match from it.
  • I have a shadow pidgeot build but it still has frustration, i realy need a shadow event because i wanna use it
  • Does quagsire pair well with charjabug? I have a mud bomb quag, and I thought it would be super weak to stuff like a grass lead, because grass means always a water or ground in the back, and charjabug does well against stuff like that. I'm currently swapping between charjabug vigoroth jelliscent and charjabug vigoroth mantine for 3-4 wins sets

Triple ghost has done well for me with the viggy heavy lines I'm seeing. Fair amount of RPS but does well overall
  • @Jp22rod
Fun line has been Toxapex, Alolan Marowak, Cradily; it has served me well.
  • @sirsilco
I've veen running vig, quag, charj. Today I ran into my exact team, 3 times. It's just so boring
  • @ajgross67
I’ve been running a triple normal team of Oranguru lead, with Vig and diggersby in the back and have climbed to 2438. Honestly I’m not minding this cup
  • @pac_0183
Getting walled using any teams with vigoroth and charjabug. I’ve started using Whiscash, tox, and mantine
  • @diegogoldeen7
I’ve also been seeing more Charjabug than Vigoroth, I think it’s probably no.1 in the meta as even in bad matchups it doesn’t lose too hard - bar Turtonator!
  • @paybax
My sleeper picks Dewgong and Tsareena. She destroys mud boys, Swampert is something like 5 magical leafs and dead. If Vig trainer isn’t on the ball I kill the the jump quick, same with many ice types. She also resists electric. Fire not fun tho. Dewgong is fun especially vs grass both super effective but Dewgong almost always wins in bulk. Victory bell gets charge attacks quicker tho so I need a health advantage there.
  • I was going shockingly well with Lanturn, Vigoroth, and Talonflame, until I abruptly wasn't. And now no matter what I switch to, I cannot win lol Gonna try some of these I guess
