Figured I'd finally cover it. Boy those down strokes are a workout. I can't do the whole song like James "Iron Wrist" Hetfield. And the beginning of Kirk's solo is super fast. I didn't nail it, but my philosophy is, you learn the song, get the gist of it, aim for perfection (and if you don't get it), move on to the next song. I was thinking some Dio next.
