Too save money we booked an Airbnb in a part of town that was less than desirable. The neighborhood was still very safe, but there was a lot of demolition and rubble all around us. I think the city was in the process of revitalizing the area, but it was definitely an experience to be caught in the middle of it all. Remember, not all of Korea will look like what you see in mainstream media.

For anyone watching whose planning on going to Korea the papago app used in this video is 100% better than Google translate when it comes to translating Korean. All the same features of google translate but significantly more accurate and less likely to give blatant mistranslations :)
