  • Hope you like this video and give a BIG thumbs up (and share if possible) and it took A LOT of time to test everything properly :D

Radeon isn't so bad when you ain't got a Redditor in your ear telling you it sucks

This confirmed what my friend experienced on MFS, he used 2070 with 3700x i warned him that MFS benefit more with CPU upgrade since it's a sim game but he wouldn't listen and upgraded to 4070, and all he get was stuttery experience.
  • I actually discovered this on my own. My friend just recently bought a 4080. I have an xtx. We wanted to swap GPUs to see the differences. I have a 5800x3d, and he had a 7800x3d. Comparing the data, I was getting around 10% less performance on the 4080 with my 5800x3d then he was with his newer 7800x3d, while he was getting the same performance as me with the xtx, but was getting far better performance with his 4080. I didn’t quite no what to call it, but now I do lol. Very interesting how that works. I guess it’s another reason why I love AMD. I’m sure if AMD does release a high end 8000 series GPU, the 5800x3d would still handle it really well.w

Here's a fun cpu test that might be worth adding: make a reactor explode in Hardspace: Shipbreakers. it turns larger ships into thousands of physics items/debris.
  • @gruuli
Let's hop into it, pretty exited for the results!
  • @adammartin4906
You just cannot get Important gaming information like this anywhere else!!! Thanks Fabio for working so hard and bringing us this important information that keeps us all well informed so we know exactly what CPUs will work best with our hardware👍
  • @chadfang2267
always love seeing my CPU (7500f) in your videos.
  • @pju28
I appreciate your work and effort! Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹
  • @amz212
ive seen someone using a 12400f on 7900xt and using 1440p the gpu was never below 97-99% but on 4070 the gpu was 86% to 96% usg. so weird
  • Been waiting for that video, late night uploads never miss :D I've tested only cs2 on my "channel", great to see a full set of games being tested by you
  • @rizrizriz
So that kinda explains why everyone keep saying they have crazy stutters in Dragon's Dogma while I was only having very VERY minor stutters in city and game was smooth outside of the city. 5600X+6900XT btw.
  • @Oceanborn712
Thank you for putting in this work. I have been primarily using AMD cards for quite a while now but I had no idea about this part. Guess it's not very "first hand" valuable knowledge to me as I'm running high end CPUs in most of my systems but it's still really good to know!
  • @silvio351
Fabio, astounding work as always, I've been watching benchmarks about the RTX 4070, as some people say driver overhead is visible in some scenarios but not that much. Also, I let you know that thanks to you I went for a 5700x3d as my final upgrade on the AM4 platform, so happy with the performance per watt it provides and runs really cool.
  • @jkeez959
Nvedia driver overhead is a very old problem and seeing its still not fixed im starting to think nvedia is just relying on cpus becoming faster to make it irrelevant
  • @hyprjay
Eagerly waiting to see a video on the new update for 24.6.1 i cant wait to hear u read "some games are not designed to launch" "some games may experience slowdowns" lol
