Josh Allen showed he owns the AFC East, is Jordan Love Packers next franchise QB? | NFL | THE HERD

Published 2024-01-08
The Buffalo Bills defeated the Miami Dolphins 21-14 with the help of Josh Allen's 426-yard and two-touchdown game despite three turnovers. Tua Tagovailoa finished with 173 pass yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Colin Cowherd hammers down on the Josh Allen over Tua Tagovailoa argument, then explains why the Bills QB will own the AFC East until he 'is out of his prime.' Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers return to the playoffs in their first year out of the Aaron Rodgers era with a 17-9 win over the Chicago Bears. Jordan Love finished with 316 passing yards and two touchdowns. The Packers clinched the No. 7 seed and will face the No. 2 seed Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round. Colin praises Love for his growth and development.

Colin called Jordan Love a whiff. I haven't forgotten and he's still wrong about everything.
  • @PointBreak5
I remember when Colin said Jordan was a career backup, still hasn’t owned up to it
  • I want to thank Packer Fans worldwide for displaying such incredible patience and grace during those agonizing 7 weeks rebuilding after 30 years of HoF QB play. I know it felt like decades, but we FINALLY have our franchise QB after enduring this lengthy and horrifying drought. Now we know how Bear fans feel. Compassion comes easier having endured the traumatic process ourselves.

The biggest change in Love is that he's able to move through his progressions quicker and can manufacture now if option 1 gets blown up. The O line has been protecting better as well and come together as a unit. Wicks, Reed, and Melton stepping up big too have created a very deep WR room. Love to see Melton coming into his own. Was stoked when we got him just based on his speed.

This dude said Jordan love was a bust... Nothing more than a backup quarterback. He must have forgotten what he said...
  • @Foxentails
The mainstream media doesn't like Allen or the Bills, so of course I'm rooting for them to win the SB.

Colin was so wrong on Jordan Love lol and I said it in the beginning of the season, you can’t judge a QB by his first few starts, everybody be so quick to dismiss these young QBs so early. Trevor Lawrence was supposed to be this generational talent lol Jordan Love had a far better season than him and he doesn’t have the same talent he has on his team
  • @GreenBay19
Colin - Tua is a left handed Drew Brees Also Colin - Tua is a bust, time to move on Also Colin - Tua is in the same conversation with Mahomes and is the MVP Also Colin - Tua is just a guy Yes, opinions are allowed to change over time. No, normal people dont sway to the opposite extreme every time
  • @ljd80
Colin exact words “there’s nothing special there” on Jordan Love. As he he off-platforms himself all the way into the playoffs like his predecessor year after year.
  • Colin will never own up to anything in his life. He has to admit he was wrong about love, he judged him before the guy even played. He was supporting the dolphins over the bills earlier when the bills were struggling, his key points were based on the offensive coach vs the defensive coach that's his favorite take, you'll see if the dolphins win in the divisional game.

The other "youngest team to make the playoffs with an average age of 25" was Lombardi's first championship team, in 1961 (!)😊
  • @brewcrewchug9359
    Dude said Roger’s isn’t close to Allen’s talent😂😂😂😂
  • @goisles6728
The Packers defense was the unsung hero of last night's game. 5 sacks and allowed no touchdowns. Far from perfect, but if they can play this bend-don't-break style of defense in the postseason, the Packers could put on a good show. No, I don't think they're a contender, chill.
  • @geewehye8576
I couldn't sworn Colin said love stinks and packers made a mistake earlier this year 🤔
  • @andrewwilson8776
Definitely not the same dudes. Rodgers didn’t have a bunch of rookies like Jordan love is playing with. Totally different receiving core last year which is even more impressive with Jordan love
  • @Gaming56456
Let’s go packers I love my new young man! He is very talented and very fun too watch!
  • @jonbaker2102
Jordan Love might be the best qb in the league right now-with massive amounts of pressure to perform, against a good Chicago defense, he was spectacular-unlike Rodgers who was a choke artist. Lamar also has a history of coming up small in the playoffs.
  • @light_skit
Josh Allen didn’t play that well at all. That punt return TD won them the game. But congrats to Josh for making the playoffs after that rocky start.
