This period of Irish history is just crying out for a major film. BTW does anyone think that the Cork and Swedish accent are very similar. Both have a similar sing song cadence to them.
  • Good timing I'm currently reading a book on the history of the Vikings. The Northmen's Fury by Philip Parker for anyone who is interested in reading up on the Vikings.

  • Just found your channel. I've found it extremely informative! My ancestors are Gaelic from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales with some Norwegian/Danish mixed in. I've been learning more about my history so I can pass it on to my children. Thanks and subbed. ..JJ I second the request from @herei go hereigo for a video about King Boru or Robert the Bruce.
  • As an Irishman can can happily say that I learnt a lot here. Delighted at the possibility of Ivar the boneless having a direct hand in my history. Subscribed.
